The college comes under the University of Delhi. So campus life is an experience in itself. College management is developing day by day, as they started new courses in college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Yes, the course curriculum is relevant to every student. And I used to have my exam twice a year, semester based. The course I selected was so good and I really enjoyed my studies even my teachers were so helpful to us. They guide us so well. Even before the exams, we got assignments which we have to submit on time, that makes everyone to be punctual.
Placement Experience
Placement cell was also helpful for students in their career. They got new opportunities through placement cell.
College Events
There are various events celebrated in our college, such as Diwali Mela, Fests, Fashion shows. I personally experienced there as I put my stall in Diwali Mela, huge crowd with a different variety of stalls. Fests is another one which is celebrated in a huge way. College union planned the whole program and also sponsor the fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure of my course was affordable. It was around 8K per year. But as I opt for Fashion Designing in my graduation so it was quite more than 8K, we had to pay extra fees for the lab facility which we got in college. Apart from this, there were no other expenses.
Fees and Financial Aid
No. I am not aware of such things like education loan or scholarship. But I never heard much about any scholarship scheme.
Campus Life
LakshmiBai is a girls college so there is no gender ratio. There are societies related to music, Drama Theatre. Students are selected for these societies once in the year. They also get the chance to perform and show their talent in college program like independence function, freshers party, farewell, fashion shows.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, everyone is so helpful around there, either they are junior or senior. Alumni network is so good. Always ready to solve students query.
Admission
I got direct admission through the cut off list. As I got my name in first cut off. So Lakshmi Bai college is located near to my residence, it was a better option for me to take admission there. Basically, the admission process is going through directly by the cut off list.
Faculty
The college faculty was excellent as they understand us so well and help to make our future more bright. The teachers serve there best to students. Through their different methods of teaching, they create a good experience for all students, which they carry forward in the future life.
