Average in terms of placement

As seen overall... The university is average in terms of placement... As per of its status it is one of the highly reputed University in Faridabad. Earlier it had German collaboration too... Which made it more famous.

As per regarding of electrical branch, the course consists of 4 years, 2 semesters each year... The course starts from 1st August usually...The university conducts class tests/sessional examinations after approx 2 months of the commencement of the course... The exam structure consists of two parts... One of the final examinations that constitute about 75% of the total marks and the remaining 25% comes under the sessionals. As it can be seen clearly. A greater weight age is given to the final examination... I guess it is fair as now the students will focus more on the final examinations... Also studying for the sessionals provide us a revision of the topics. So that when we are going to write the exams... We will be well prepared.

As per regarding of the electrical branch which is mainly a core branch we know that there are mainly gibt jobs available for the students... So the companies visiting for placements are very few.. This is because most of the students are either preparing for the gate or for the govt exams. But as for other branches like computers and information technology... There is a no. Of companies that visit the university campus and select students for internships and jobs as well... Almost every student of the ce it branch gets placed... Provided they are eligible for the placement.

There are many technical and cultural events at YMCA University... Also a no. Of students take part in these events... The cultural fest known as the elements culmyca is organized every year... It is an event of about 3 days... And on the 3rd day... There is also a star performance... The technical event is also organized per year... Every year a no. Of students from this university and other universities too take part in these events and win prizes too.

For the first year of BTech electrical the fess is about 39000 per semester... I guess it is a very nominal fee in today's expensive world of schools and colleges. After subsequent years the fees keep on decreasing... Also, the university provides scholarships to meritorious students and Encourage them to work hard.

No, I hadn't applied for any scholarships or any education loan... But the university provides scholarships for the meritorious students and also educational loans are provided too... Although the fees aren't that much.

The campus life is average... There is interaction among the students due to the cultural and technical societies known as the clubs... These clubs indulge the students into various co curricular activities such as sports, music, dance. Painting etc and many more. Besides these co-curricular activities, there are also labs that provide the students enough exposure to the practicals. Also, there are technical fests organized that organize competitions, etc.. Where students can present their ideas and opinions regarding any new research.

The hostel fees are very nominal..... It's just about 500 rs. Per month.....with some additional charges like to newspaper etc.... That is also very nominal. The hostel provides a 4 seater room with 4 beds,4 almirahs, chair - table for every student. There is also a common room, a TV room, and a gym as well. The hostel also provides a mess facility for the students residing there at the charges of abt 2000 per month. For the hostelers the mess facility is compulsory. Besides this, the hostel also provides the mess facilities for the day scholars /localities too at a very cheap rate of 40 rs. Per plate per time. The food in the mess isn't up to the mark... Sometimes it's not well cooked... But the students are left to no other option.

I'm in touch of many seniors... All of them are very helpful. Be it in terms of placement or any other help... They are always there for us. They give us valuable suggestions regarding the future and career planning... About what to pursue next and also provide a helping hand in projects as well.

Ymca University offers admissions under the Haryana state technical education society... More details can be found on hstes.org. For admissions in btech... The main criteria are the marks obtained in the jee main exam held every year. But for the Kashmiri migrants and the Haryana govt school toppers the admission is solely on the basis of marks obtained in the 12th CBSE board. As I belong to the Kashmiri migrant category...so I got admission on the basis of my marks in 12th CBSE board. All the students have to apply for the admission only after the results of the 12th boards and jee main exam are out. The application process is online. Usually, the application starts from the mid-July or so and the curriculum starts from 1st August.

The faculty of the University consists of highly qualified professors with the vast knowledge of the course and a good command over their subjects... Although the teachers are very strict... But they are always ready to help the students regarding their studies.
