I will give 5/5 for the course curriculum in terms of relevance .The course I have choosed reminds me often that it is one of the best decision i i have made.Because curriculum of this course,teaching methods,the regular exams etc is moulding me everyday

Tution fees are more than 9650 when including each semester's exam fees The complete cost including college charges and hostel fees is more than 5 lakhs Egrantz, other minority scholarships I am a first year student, therefore not at all participated in campus employment

Campus Life

Campus Life in this college was awesome. There are many club-related and unrelated activities that boost your confidence and knowledge. The infrastructure in our college is pretty compared to many other colleges. And there are so many technical-related and unrelated activities and clubs in college.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is good there are facilities for studying and have a decent cleanliness with a portion of pretty decent food and a good atmosphere. There are some restrictions in the hostel but adjustable but rent is too high.

Hostel Fee: INR 6500 per year

Admission

Eligibility of course is to crack Keam entrance exam which is under Kerala board.reservation is for minority category like SCST.Semester exams of this year was between three months and it was very difficult to manage whole the syllabus within these short period of time.

Faculty

The faculties are almost good. Some of them are very understandable and truthful to their job but some are not too sincere. And can't understand that much so it's a bit hard to study that subject and some teachers who are very supportive.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.
