Course Curriculum Overview
I chose electrical and electronics engineering because of my personal preference for this course as a core subject. Weekly workshops help us to expand our knowledge outside classrooms. However, the syllabus is not updated to date. However, MACE will become autonomous in the next academic year. The frequency of exams can be hectic sometimes.
Internships Opportunities
Various internships from Infosys, Bosch, Tata, Microsoft, IBM, Cognizant, Apollo, Mahindra, HCL, and many other available through the alumni of our college. MACE Alumni Association is active in providing internships and placements to students.
Placement Experience
Placements in MACE are quite good. The highest salary package is around 30LPA. About 40 %of students get placed in good companies. TCS, Byjus and IBM are some of the companies often visit MACE to provide placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of MACE is affordable and fee concession will be provided on the basis of our rank during entrance examinations and annual family income. The monthly hostel fee is around 5000. Several scholarships are provided for financial assistance.
Campus Life
There are only two fests(Takshaq- Technical fest, Sanskriti- Cultural fest) conducted annually and shortage of funds is the main issue during fests. Sports are not properly supported by management. Although several clubs are present to encourage students to bring out their best.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are quite good. But issues like food poisoning arise sometimes. Hostels are affordable but admission in college hostel is difficult. The distance of some private hostels from college is over one km.
Admission
The admission process was smooth and assistance was provided throughout the entire application process. Reservation benefits are available for students. There was a brief description of the college rules and regulations. But more elaboration would have been appreciated.
Faculty
The faculty members are quite friendly and approachable.Their main focus is on the development of the skills of the students. Mentors are regular in keeping track of the academic performance of students.
