Course Curriculum Overview

I think the duration for each semester is very short and is tiring. Students may not be able to cope up with the pace of this curriculum. I think each semester should atleast last for a period of 5 or 6 months. Extra curricular activities should also be promoted

The fees Structure is affordable for the students as it is a government college and also they provide us with scholarships and financial assistance which helps students with their financial background

Campus Life

The infrastructure in my college is average comparing with other colleges. My college doesn't have any playground , and also the college area is not vasf comparing to other government colleges. Sports , extracurricular activities offering are poor in our college.

Admission

For the admission in engineering college we should attend the Kerala, Engineering , Architecture, and Medical Entrance Exam along with 12th board exams result. Reservations are also available for students .

Faculty

Not all the faculties are experienced, but most of the have good experience and I think they are well qualified. There classes are interactive and helpful. They are willing to help us with our studies .

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

G.E.C. PALAMU : A. Brief Overview .

Actually I applied in Chandigarh University , KIIT , SRM, and Quantum University . I even. Done the formalities of Quantum University but when the result of JCECEB COUNSELING came I took decision to take admission in this college as for now I think my decision is good . This college first of all government aided which provides a way better option than other private colleges which I opted for . Also this college might not compare with the other private colleges which I mentioned in so called renowned facilities but still we can get all basic facilities here . And all the above the fees here is very much affordable as compared to all the colleges which I mentioned in my list . Means all your engineering course will be completed in about 5 lakhs . which is very much less as compared to even NIT and IIT. For admission you have to give either jee mains or you can give JCECEB exam but you have to sit in JCECEB COUNSELING to get this college .all information you will get from the youtube about the councelling...Read More
