Great College

One thing about the college is that it is away from City. It is a boon as well as the course.

It's a good college for Branches like Computer Science and Information Technology. These branches have more than 90% placement probability. It has a really good infrastructure and location. The name of Symbiosis is already a Brand in Pune as well as in India.

Teachers generally teach us through Presentations in the class. We also get notes through email. We also have a library where we get a variety of options for particular subject books which we can borrow for 1 month and then we can renew it as well. We can also access it through Google Classroom.

Normally college does provide internship for very few or the limited number of students that personally opt for the internship in college. We have 6 months internship semester for every branch.

Placement of Symbiosis takes an edge over other colleges from Pune. It has very good placement statistics for branches like CS, IT and Civil. Companies like Larsen & Turbo, Nutcracker, Vodafone have come to college recently. Companies like Microsoft are also planning to come.

We have many events in the college. We have an annual festival called Reverb. We have Technical fest for different branches showing technologies related to their branches. We have Lohri and Garba Celebration in the college. We also have wardrobe days where we wear different styles dresses for particular days.

We have a decent fees structure for 4 Year Bachelor of Technology Program. Approximately 2 Lacks per annum is annual fees for academics and approximately 1 Lacks is Hostel and Mess Fees. It is neither feasible nor expensive. Bus and Travelling fees are included in the hostel fees.

Toppers of the college get scholarships in the academic fees. Right now they don't have a loan facility through college is planning to get this facility available for students.

The campus is located on a hill which has a really good atmosphere. Boys and Girls are appreciated equally. College Festival heads are generally Girls and Annual sports program named 'Prota' have boys as heads. Prota has different game competitions like Cricket, Soccer, Kabaddi, Badminton, Kho Kho etc. We have different seminars by famous personalities in these fields.

Hostels have a very good facility like 24 hours guards, everyday cleaning, Gym Facility, Indoor game like Table Tennis, Pool. Mess provides 3-time food for every student and has decent food. We also have routine pest control and gardeners available.

Seniors are really helpful from the beginning. They tell us about the faculties and courses. They also help us in making the projects and also helps in understanding the curriculum.

We have two internal assessments and one external assessment and one Laboratory Assessment. Internal assessment includes Unit Tests, Class Tests, Quizzes, Multiple Choice Question, Presentations, Mini Projects etc. External component has a single University Exam.

I secured 130 marks out of 200. That's why I was eligible for the counseling session. I got add mission in Computer Science Branch. Counseling can be done for the people who have opted for JEE. Then we opt for the hostel and mess. It has hostel accommodation for 2 years for boys and 4 years for girls in BTech.

Faculties are normally available in Staff Rooms. They will be available if they don't have a teaching schedule. They are really friendly and understand students very well. They are always supportive of academics as well as extracurriculars. They are available for 6 days of the week.
