Brief review on IIIT Sricity

First of all I would like to mention that I took this college because of it's curriculam as it's mostly stright forward and we don't have any unwanted subects like chemistry and physics.We mostly have domain related courses.If, I would tell a unwanted subject it would be math only but it's fine. Basically we follow IIITH curriculum.which is really good

In our college the placements are pretty good and all placement statistics are posted in college website for every year it will be updated around july or august as of the last year it's highset is 120lpa and avg for cse is 20.7lpa and for ece is 20.3 lpa and overall median is 14lpa which given in my college website in 2023. Also day by day the are increasing,

The fee in the college is always been high for a government college were other IIIT's have much lower fee compared to us per sem (tution fee which is 1,55,000 )where hostel and mess fee are affordable 20k,20k per sem. I think the price will increase in upcoming years by thousands only. There are no other compulsory fee.But there will some one time fee when u join college. The total fee of the college per sem for me this year(1st year) is 2 * 155k +2 * 20k + 2 * 20k=390K (tution + mess + hostel). For the place is not much affordable because we have catch a auto and go like 5km even for a haircut and even ordering food is pretty expensive.

The campus and social life in the college not so good. But the club involvement and coding culture in the college is very good.Infrastructure in the college is still growing we have 80 acres of college land but only a part of it is being used. There one big technical and cultural fest is utkrista and abhisaraga only these fest will be good.

Hostel facility is really good for the fee of 20k/sem. We get really spacious room in 3sharing for us 1st year and 2 sharing for others. The mess in college is affordable(20k/sem) and which pretty good and can be managed for eating daily. There is no seprate registration process for hostel and mess we just have pay the fee in sbi collect when we pay for tution.As of my knowledge there no private pg avaliable in the locality.

The admission process for is pretty stright forward, like for all central govt institutions. Which JEE and you have to apply for Jossa councelling for the admission. After getting addmision in the college from Jossa the will sending Emails to you to fillout some google forms nad upload your documents in the google forms and fillout Anti ragging circullur in stamp paper before coming to college and u would have to submit all those things.In IIITS we have all category wise reservation but no state wise resevations. There is no application fee for Jossa but in CSAB you will be paying 5k for CSAB not for college.

The Faculty in the college is realy good most of them done thier phd or m.tech in IIT's or NIT's or in some Foriegn universities. Even some them will be going aborad during semesters for some works. The faculty's will be very friendly while teaching and the will give us time for asking doubts and clear it it ASAP. But the will be angry only if we use moblie in class. And most of the faculty's members will open for our doubts even in their free time. I think the Faculty to student ratio is 1:60 Now but not sure about it.
