Course Curriculum Overview
My course is bcom so it's an old course but becoming relevant nowadays as student do certificate courses and in university of Delhi skill enhancement courses is mandatory which makes bcom graduate more employable. We have 2 semester every year and difficulty level is moderate.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fees is nearly ?8000/year which is very much affordable. Financial aid is also provided in the college itself. Placement cell of Sri Aurobindo College is very active every year a placement and internship fair is organized by them were companies like Aditya Birla Group, Byjus, Tradeshala etc. come to campus and provide placement of 4lpa on average and 14lpa highest. Student can easily get internship through the placement cell in renowned companies as well as in startups.
Campus Life
Talking about the campus, the area is very small and it's among the smallest campuses of delhi university but fests are held on first half of every year in the college. The college is situated in prime location so you get access to many places in Malviya Nagar from parks to Select City Mall. The library is well maintained and fully air conditioned which gives to a comfortable and silent space to study. Extra curricular activities are held almost everyweek by societies present in the college.
Admission
To take admission in the college one needs to appear in cuet and in the combination of 4 four subject ( accounts, bst, eco, english) one needs to score at least 640/800 to get admission in the college for bcom.if you have Reservation then the cutoff for you becomes 560/800.
Faculty
The faculty is well qualified in the Commerce department. Some of them had been publishing research paper since very long. Those who are given the title of professor have achieved a lot of thing in their career and published books for publishing houses like Pearson.Teaching method is very practical and skill based so student can easily catch up. The classes are very interactive and interesting. The faculty is superb here. The teacher ratio is like one teacher for 30 students.
