The college life is not interesting with a very few students joining every year and a vast campus. The college restricts much of the fun-filled activities such as IV (industrial visit you are) and tech expose.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum does not focus on practical classes even though as engineers that's what is valued the most. Theoretical classes have more importance than the lab. The year back criteria is an utmost drawbacks exam structure is elaborately planned with 6subjects each with 6modules the marks are classified as 15marks each for first 4 modules and 20marks each for past two modules.
Placement Experience
No.. the college does not provide us with an internship, though the curriculum mandates us to undergo one..... We have to find a good place for undergoing an internship on our own.... KSRTC and engineering workshops are the main hubs for internship placement cell of the college lacks the ability to being in companies.... since the marks obtained by the students are poor....this is mainly due to not the completion of the syllabus in the prescribed time.
College Events
Tech fest interbranch competition showcasing technical and technological creativity. Games interbranch competition including high jump, long jump, and marathons. Sports interbranch competition including football, basketball, and volleyball.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for each student is highly varied based on his/her entrance marks and twelfth marks... He or she may also available different scholarships based on the govt policies...the college fees can also be paid termly.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides different scholarships based on the 12th marks in tiers such as 95-100,90-95,80-90 etc. Also, the college provides scholarships based on team ranks. The students may avail other scholarships from the govt.
Campus Life
The college restricts most extracurricular activities that have been rightfully given by the Kerala tech University. Sports activities are only conducted during evening and nights such that many students fail to participate.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is not much exposed. The college fails to keep up with them. And the alumni don't get involved since the teachers they have been taught by would have left within 2years. The seniors tend to support us even though conflicts arise often.
Admission
I undertook the Kerala entrance for the engineering team. The merit list was based on the options we choose. I had opted for this college without clear clarification. The admission process is easy.
Faculty
The college has very few faculties with good experience. Faculty members keep resigning from the college to better institutions. The college is more like a training institution for teachers with no experience.
