Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good. Exams are conducted yearly basis. Hardly classes are conducted since it's night college very fewer students come for classes and they get driven by the pomp and glitter of the city and don't come to college.

Events are celebrated very much in our college, so far I have attended Teacher's Day, Freshers Day, Saraswati Puja, Annual social.

As college is a government college so there is not much fee asked only, admission fee around 3000 and examination fee 550,, it may vary.

I thought being in college will b boring as everything everyone will b new n the life will b bore without friends but fortunately, I got great friends here with really supportive nature, I love my friends.

I got admission in this Siliguri college of commerce on the basis of my meritorious performance in my secondary standard. My name was enlisted on the admission list and I was called for admission and I had gone there for documents verification and after verification, I got my roll no.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
