Likes
- There is no strictness for attendance and compulsory I'd card. Like if your attendance is low you have to do some remedial lectures or assignment and then your attendance got improved.
- Faculties are PhD holders and some of them are very helpful like they provide question bank, study material and important topics as well which is so helpful for our exams.
- Less exams like there are only two main exam in a semester mid sem and end sem. So it will reduce your pressure and you can look up to your skill development in the free time
Dislikes
- Hostel is very expensive and soo far away from the college and does not provide lunch on week days.
- You have to prepare lots of assignments,tutorial, viva and presentation in every sem.
- Lots of useless subjects in first year engineering like biolpgy ,yoga, foundation of peace, co creation and workshop.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is computer science engineering with the specialisation of cyber security and forensic so there is high demand in market and at the mit computer science engineering branch will be preferable because others branch is not soo good.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are good almost every students in comp branch got internship now it's upto you to grab a good company for internship and convert it into ppo. Maintaining a good gpa along with skills is mandatory for all students who desires a good internship or a good placement as well.
Placement Experience
Placement is like 7 lpa officially but in recent times it turned very low because of re cessation but clg provide better facilities and internship you can grab PPO and can go for off campus for big opportunities but for decent placement clg is good.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is definitely on higher side. Total yearly fees will be Rs.355000/- and it is divided in to two installments first 1650000 which you have to give at the time of admission and another 190000 you have to give after the 3 months of the admission. Scholarship occurs between 25 percent to 100 percent on tution fees, you have to visit to the official site of mit wpu for the more details regarding to the scholarship.
Campus Life
Campus Life is decent but one thing just bothered me that majority of them are belongs from rich family and spoil kids. you have to search for good people and yes fests are there but not awesomes number of fests and events are high but quality is low. Beleive me hype is unreal of fests in mit wpu.
Admission
Admission process is quite simple you have to fill application form of mit wpu which will live just after the jee mains result. You can take admission through jee mains, mhtcet and pera cet and direct entry is also there. Here first come first seat rule will be applied here like whoever applied first they got better branch. Cutoff is around 90 percentile in mhtcet and jee mains for comp branch.
Faculty
Few of them are not much involved and don't co-operate with students. But many faculties are good and soo helpful at the time of exams they provide question bank study material PDFs and important topics paper format and check your paper in a linent way and give good marks in internals.
