Course Curriculum Overview

4

Basically, my course is the middle bridge between engineering and the medical field which combines both of them for greater results. It goes widely from bioinformatics, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, genetic sciences technology etc. My department has well-maintained big fat dry and wet labs which helps us for further academic pursuits. They let us choose one major in 3rd year depending on academic grades. The faculty is quite strict but also friendly which helps us for academics. We majorly have 2 main exams in one semester. one mid-term examination and the other one is end term examination including theoretical as well as practical exams.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

My department gives opportunities for summer internships that last for 2 months and a major internship and 8th semester for 6 months. Serum Institute, Siolta therapeutic, and Biocon are such major companies where our students are placed or doing internships.

Placement Experience

5

For my course campus placements are offered for students undergoing 6th semester and so on. but in the MANET department they are serving campus placement from 1st semester it self .10 students with excellent performance got placed in their 1 semester of academic year 23-24. Overall University 84% is the average percentage of students who are getting placements and the remaining students chose for further education such as master's and PhD. The average package at my department is 6 lac and the highest is 40 lac. but for different departments, packages are different from range 4 la. To up to 62 lac per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

My course fee is nearly 215000 per year and as I am a hostelite my hostel fee is 160000 for per year. But students who can't afford a hostel they have other options like living in flats and pg's. But MIT hostel provides various facilities such as good food, transport (for out campus hostel which are in a radius of 500m from University), security, and health care. University provides scholarships for students who are having low income and which obviously having their terms and conditions and also scholarship for students who have scored great in their academics including University academic as well as school academics. As I'm in a freshman year I really don't know that much about campus employment

Campus Life

5

Well known annual fest of MIT ADT UNIVERSITY is PERSONA which is typically held in Feb which goes from 4-5 days. Technical fest is ICRTB perticularly for my department held in December. The social life at MIT is quite interesting if you've got a good friend circle.there are many clubs and social groups in University giving example of one 'The Human Library. Which mainly focuses on mental well-being and they held different interactive session with well known people in India who had achieved something big in their lives. Also University runs a SHD(school of Holistic Development) program for all departments which focuses on physical and extra curricular activities of students focuses

Hostel Facilities

5

I am a hostelite and I would say mit is really good at hostel management. They have 15+ hostels for boys and girls including 8 in-campus hostels and 7 out-campus hostels which are in a radius of 500 m from the University itself. It is 2 accommodation rooms and they provide 24/7 electricity backup, hot water, and wifi service. Hostel fees is 160000 per year which is quite affordable. we have 3 major messes and the food quality is also good. Balancing diet with proteins and carbs. The menu is set for 2 particular weeks which is again repeated in the 3rd week. There are pg's and flats also available nearby

Admission

For my course eligibility criteria is you should have scored +65% in your 12 board examination, particularly for pcb group. I've gotten 99%in CET do that easy for me to get into this course and also they took para cet which is held by the University itself. you can get an admission form and further details on mitadtu. in or you can visit the university itself. I really don't know the reservation details because the University likes to keep those details confidential. Exams are on a much difficult level than you think but still, it's quite okay.

Faculty

4

I would like to explain this specifically about my department. There are 50 students in each division and 2-3 faculty for per subject. Most of the faculties had done their masters in well-known universities such as Florida University, Harvard University etc. They are willing to clear out doubts personally also and we got a personal mentor for discussing any mental or social issues. Our university is also looking forward to a projects at a big level for that faculty members are also putting much amount of effort into students.

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
