- Haldia institute of technology, Having one of the biggest campuses among the private colleges in west bengal.
- College offer a decent placement in very low fees and having good facilities.
- Placements is good for branches like CSE, IT, AIML, DS and some vore branches like chemical and food technology.
Dislikes
- College is located in haldia which is so far from kolkata.
- Placement in core branches like mechanical, civil, electrical have to faces issue in placements.
- Some professors are not working for the students as they do not focus on the syllabus but most of the professors are gems for the students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college provides good curriculum, the syllabus includes new technologies and subjects which is latest in industries and ongoing market. Subjects like Arti?cial Intelligence, machine learning, computer networks are included in our syllabus in tech branches.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fees is not so high in this college but this year fee amount of college had increased then also it is affordable for many middle class students. The college provide DRCC for bihar students and TFW for domicile students.
Campus Life
Campus of the college is awesome. You will really enjoy the college life. Their is 2 large playgrounds, 1 basketball court. Some functions, fests are organized in regular basis and sports tournaments are also organized in every 2-3 months.
Admission
The admission process is through wbjee rank card, jee mains and management quota. 80% seats are reserved for wbjee rank holders and 10% for jee students and 10% for management quota. TFW students should have domicile of west bengal for admission.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good. Their is at least 60 to 65 students in a batch and 1 professor is allocated for each subjects and different batches may have different professors. Professor often tries their best to provide quality education to students but few of them have no intrest in teaching and only tries to skip their work.
