Here the students are really of the same vibe on any reason. And the faculty members are strict about their subject at the same time
We have everything a college need. Fully air condition labs, High Specced computers.

Dislikes

We don't even get a free period to relax.
To end the syllabus they take continuous hours of class.

The great promising future of AI made me choose this course. And we have a just-passed batch of seniors who are expecting great results. The faculty gives support for students who have low marks. The frequent exams and practicals make the students efficient.

My college offers various opportunities with companies like Infosys, TCS, Infopark etc.The roles typically include research assistants and marketing interns with tasks like data analysis and report writing.For more details on specific projects and tasks, it'll be better to inquire with the college's career service or internship office.

Placement Experience

Students will be eligible for placements from 5th semester onwards.The usual visited companies are TCS,Wipro, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Adobe etc. The highest salary package got from here was 30 lakhs per annum. The average package which company offers starts from 2.5 lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are paid semester wise. One semester is priced at 37500 , therefore yearly 75000.We are informed that price will be increasing to 50000 for semester.The college has provided scholarships for students based on marks ,annual income. Also the college charges same amount for every course.Fees are affordable comparing with other self financing college.

Campus Life

Here every department days are conducted, have a program for ethnic day, and almost every cultural events are conducted.Sports meet are conducted. The faculties here use advanced technology for teaching almost every one uses iPad and projecters for teaching. There are also student - run social groups such as GDSC, IEEE and many more.

Admission

You might have attended KEAM entrance exam and should have marks above it's pass marks.You need more than 80% on the 12th board exam, and should have good grades on the SSLC exam. The faculty will help you full the forms with us.

The faculties here are well experienced ones.Even there are faculty for mentoring students.Faculties of every department are handpicked by the management who are really efficient and has great proven track record.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.

I applied for 4 college include the current one they were : 1)SRM , Chennai 2)M.A.C.E, Kothamangalam 3)MITS , Varikoli 4)V.J.C.E.T, Vazhakulam From these 4 colleges I was rejected by MA college and MITS. I think my KEAM score was too low to make it there . I got a seat at SRM for Electronics and Communication Engineering but was not financialy able enought to afford it. As I was applied for 2engineering colleges and 1 arts and science college. The name of the engineering colleges is 1)viswajyothi college of engineering and technology vazhakulam(Ernakulam) 2)Rajagiri school of engineering and technology (Ernakulam). And third arts and science college name is Amritha vidhya college (Ernakulam). I didn't get any rejections from these colleges but compared to these three colleges I chose viswajyothi college of engineering and technology vazhakulam Ernakulam because there I got my admission according to my JEE score and for less management fees.
