- Since it has an Open campus, vehicles come to the campus ever now and then

Course Curriculum Overview
Actually in Assam Engineering College, Electrical department has the highest number of placement followed by Electronics department and so I decided to opt for this field Examinations come every 5 months end sem and class tests take place regularly It's a great college if you want to study
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are too good here, as most of Alumni's are from Assam Engineering College, it's a trusted college and the professor's has a good contact with others, I am not sure about the projects but it provides good opportunities for internships.
Placement Experience
You have a wide range of aspects after you pass out , you can apply for on campus placement in 6th or 7th sem and you can apply for off campus as well, one can also opt for higher studies which is a better option. Many companies and PSU's come to offer job like NRL, OIL, GAIL, VEDANTA, INFOSYS, TCS, WIPRO, etc. Highest placement is 18lpa and average is 5 or 6 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee is very less here as compared to any other government college or private colleges of India, within 2 lakh 50 thousand one can complete 4 years of engineering where as IIT costs 2.5 lakhs per year or more than that
Campus Life
College life is overall good , the clubs are good and active as well, Technical fest of Assam Engineering College is one of the best in Assam as many other people come to visit it once a year. Students have a good group here with everyone
Hostel Facilities
Hostels of Assam Engineering College are old but it provides a good life, they have their own legacy and also has good wifi, good food , sometimes it's bad, and everything is good in hostel, good availability of water and most importantly, it's very affordable and electricity is available 24×7
Admission
To avail this engineering course, one has to apply for Assam state CEE entrance test after class 12 in science background with more than 50% in PCM in boards. In CEE, he has to score as good rank as he can to get a good branch in AEC or else he will be allocated to any other college as per seat availability and rank
Faculty
Good and qualified engineering teachers are crucial for our engineering college. Through their guidance, students become competent, ethical engineers ready to excel in their careers. Faculty to students ratio is good and we can interact with teachers anytime through our phone or at college, there's no issue
