Course Curriculum Overview
College curriculum is mostly the same as of other colleges. Lab classes should be improved n be more practical rather than marks oriented. Total exams are 3 xams per semester. Two mid sem and one finals.
Placement Experience
During the seventh semester companies starts coming to college. All students allmost get placed because lot of mass hiring companies visit. But if you need good placement then u have to make your efforts. Average package will be around 5lpa and companies with 11-12 lpa also came during our time.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fee is approx 400000. This is excluding your hostel charges n hostel charges will be mostly depending on your. Scholarships are available based on income. There are not other charges in the college.
Campus Life
There a plenty of clubs in the college including rootract, nss and some coding clubs. Library is pretty good n you will find this really good. Sports like cricket, volleyball, football n some indoor sports are available. Overall campus life is good.
Admission
You have to write wbjee exam or even you can take entry using jee mains. Wbjee is conducted once a year. If you are from West Bengal then you will get caste reservation benefits. Syllabus is same as jee mains so anyone preparing for this is good to go for the exam
Faculty
Facilities in the college is average. In the lab they will focus only on marks n test rather than improvement and lab classes are mostly not up to mark. Faculty to student ratio is 50:1. Interaction with teachers depends on you how much you can, they are mostly available.
