PES University helps us in dwelling to not just the management part of designing but also artsy part of designing.
Since it's still a new course in PES, they have incorporated the course by influencing from top colleges like IITs and IDC.
HOD is very responsive and cares highly about the feedbacks that student gives.

Dislikes

Expensive for sure as the course fees is quite high even though the course is introduced lately at PES University.

Product designing has been my hobby and when I learned about this course, I was like why not hone the hobby and make it a skill to make it big one day. Our curriculum has been inspired by corporate demands and from th top colleges and therefore I don't see any changes to be done in our course.

Placement Experience

Xylem, GEA Group, ABB and other companies are there that gives PES University students the placements. Before launching the course the university made tie-ups with various companies and design engineers at PES University don't have to worry about placements. In all there are two sections and 100 students in all for our course. Hence, the placements are close to one hundred percent. The average salary offered to design students are somewhere around 5 lakhs.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well, this part as I have already said is little too much but for designing there aren't many good institutes like PES. Hence moving on from the part whether it is low or high there are substantial amount of scholarships that PES University offers. One can bring their fees down by a fair margin of they qualify for scholarship programs. Most of them though are for the students who hold a domicile from Karnataka.

Campus Life

The two day event Aatmatrisha is one of the most attended college fest. Footfall is close to 25000 and in terms of college fests footfall it is next to Christ University. For recreation students are spoiler for many many choices as there are snooker tables, basket ball courts, badminton courts and many more such facilities.

Admission

Entrance is ther but not all seats are filled with entrance. One can directly apply by going to the college and meeting the admission counselor there. The entire process took just an hour or so and admissions were done. I have not seen such a fast process even in schools. However those going through entrance or online might have to wait for a while before their admissions are confirmed.

Faculty

All faculties at PES University are hired after they fullfill a lot of criteria and hence one can be assured that faculties who have entered the classes knows their job well. Faculties have opened many doors for us not just by providing quality education but by encouraging us to take up higher studies after our course.

Course curriculum here feels more practical and idea driven rather than just theory based which was one of the main reasons I chose this course it focuses on design thinking creativity and real execution instead of only textbook learning One of the strongest parts is how it slowly builds your understanding from basics to advanced concepts through projects assignments and presentations this helps in preparing for real world work because you are constantly creating and improving your portfolio rather than just studying for exams The curriculum does prepare you for industry to a good extent especially in terms of creative thinking software usage and project handling but it can improve by including more updated trends real time industry briefs and collaboration with professionals which will make it even more relevant Teaching methods are mostly interactive and practical but sometimes they can include more workshops guest sessions and exposure to current market tools to enhance learning experience Exams are conducted with two internal assessments of around 40 marks each followed by a final semester exam of 70 marks theory and 30 marks practical the difficulty level is moderate if you attend classes and complete your work regularly it is manageable Overall the curriculum is strong in building creative foundation and practical skills but with a few updates and more industry exposure it can become even more effective for future careers

Life at rv university

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have really packed timings. We also have a lot of chances. Like an exchange program, internships and many chances to act or work in actual projects. I really hope they could teach us animation in the course and it would really help if the clubs are active. For every exam we have to come up with something new totally out of the box. sometimes we also have to work overtime.

Ab overview of life at NIFT Bangalore

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after their graduation project in the 8th semester which is the 4th year. A good number of companies around 8-10 come for the campus placements. The minimum package starts from 6 lakhs and can go up to 20 lakhs per annum. Almost 70% of the students get an on campus placement. Some get an off campus placement as well. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue masters in my field.

I chose this college because it had a good record, strong labs and helpful staff compared to the other places I checked. I had applied to a few more MCA colleges and got offers from some of them, but I liked the campus feel and support system here more. Life in PESU

Except PESU I applied for MCC banglore, MSRUAS banglore, Chanakya University banglore and Reva University banglore and got offer letter from all the 4 universities. I choose PESU over the other universities considering fee structure, infrastructure, curriculum, importance give to extra curricular activities, proximity to main parts for the city etc. The admission process in PES is quite simple, first we have to fill an application form, then we will be having an interview. Once we get qualified in the interview we will be asked to pay the seat blocking fee. Then after few weeks we can pay the pending amount later will have to go to the university for documents submission.
