Nature of campus .Behaviour of teachers faculties and all members in the college
Hostel facility food is also ok to me . Good rooms
Classrooms are good .Teachers are well qualified and good behaviour

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum should be changed I think that it is an old curriculum things have changed a lot we should also move along with the trend .Timing of exams is little tight because in the 1st sem we didn't had much gap between each exam but in 2nd sem we have 5 days gap between each exam

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 95000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees four 4 years will be 3lakh something without hostel . We have to pay extra fee for exam registration and all that is not included each sem exam fee will be 2000 something it is mandatory and we should pay it to online

Campus Life

We have a large library and it is the best library in Kerala there is a lot of book collection and we can take it for reference purposes and extra . Somany society's are there IEEE is in our college we can take membership in IEEE also

Hostel Facilities

Room is included with cupboard a chair , a table , and a coat bed is not provided .In a room 3 people is accommodated the meal facility is good as compared to many hostels Personally I like the food in the hostel

Hostel Fee: INR 85000 per year

Admission

Eligibility is there we should score 60% above in 12th and we should be qualified in JEE or Keam we should get atleast a pass mark in the entrance exam . Admission procedure is easy if above mentioned things are qualified

Faculty

Faculty members are highly educated and qualified . The classes are also good. We can ask them doubt at any time they will clear our doubts immediately . If we want extra classes they will arrange for us

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
