College infrastructure is good, having good workshops, library,laboratory . THE COLLEGE also have digital classroom.

Dislikes

Placements here is good but they need to improve more than that and also they should bring up more reputated organizations to the campus drives

Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching time is good for students . 6 hours in one day and 2 labs per week. Method of teaching is good but teachers must include more practical things .it will help full to proper understand. There are 2 series exams in one semester .

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee is 35k but there are some extra service fees . So the total fees around 41k per year. More scholarships are provided by college and government of kerala so students can apply. Tutors will inform about the scholarships.

Campus Life

The college have a good cricket team . Students can participate in any sporta items . College also conduct arts and technical fest in every year. . The college is provided NCC ,NSS and green campus social service programmes for students .

Eligibility to get admission through the keam exam ranking. There are some reservation quotas so elligible students can get seats . College provide admission helpdesk so anyone can clear any doubts . Contact details is provided in college website.

Teachers are excellent. The teaching quality is better for us to understand every topic easily. In final exams, faculties will help to get pass marks by conducting remedial classes . Most of the faculties are high educated and experienced. Behavior of faculties are interesting. The relation between students and faculties are very good

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.
