Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The Mechanical in Vjti is mainly focused on application based learning. Various technical clubs were established under the guidance of faculties to provide real life experience for students. Also aling with that we can see the syllabus being updated every 4 years which is a good thing. As the trends are changing rapidly nowadays. Also if we are considering the inclusion of Artificial intelligence this can be done by opting these subject in optional choices.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

The internship opportunities provided by the college are really good. Various government organization like BARC, Indian Railways and many more provides opportunities to students also various private companies gives internship with PPO Offering

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements at Vjti starts from 7th semester. Placements at Vjti are really very good. The placements of CS IT students completes during the first 3 4 months of the final year. Then the core companies start which is a great thing as one can appear for IT placements as well as core placements. The average package was around 13.7 LPA while the highest package offered was 57LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees are ?85551/- of which 15000 is tution fee. For the top 5 students of each batch this 15000 rupees can be waived off using TFWS scheme. Various schloarship offered by Government of Maharashtra are eligible in Vjti. Along with that, various companies as well as alumini offer scholarships to needy as well as bright students.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life of vjti is one of the best experience of life one could get, various clubs and committees like technical as well as social clubs. Technicals clubs like Vishwa, Racing gives exposure to real life applications of the course taught along with team building and leadership skills. The facilities provided by Vjti are as follows separate grounds for cricket and football, basketball court as well as gymkhana. The legacy of more than 100 years can be seen in the buildings which built in pre independence era.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel buildings are really old and are in a need of renovation. The hostel facilities are not really up to the mark. The food is not that great also the cleaning is done once in a week only. The only thing in which vjti lacks behind is hostel facilities.

Admission

For admission in Vjti, one needs to score good marks in MHT CET, a state-level entrance exam for Engineering. Talking about admission in Computer Science and IT one needs to score at least 185/200. The cutoff for Vjti is really very high as it is one of the best colleges in Maharashtra.

Faculty

4

The faculties at Vjti are one of the best. They know there subject and are always available for the doubt which is outside the curriculum as well. For the batch of 80 students there will a faculty teaching which is a good number in my opinion. No faculty will be repeated for the courses that will be taught in future. The approach from the faculty make it way more easier to understand the subject.
