KIET: Best college in NCR?

I choose CSIT as my branch honestly because of my rank , I was getting this but coming on the branch the CS and CS allied branches are all same here all get almost equal placement opportunities. The curriculum however seems to be outdated and lack industry requirements but the faculties and technical clubs provide healthy environment for learning.The student have to be attentive about all the events happening in the college . The exams at KIET are very very much hectic this is the thing which I hate the most we have CT1 CT2 PUE and the university exams like the exams are like every month the students don't get time to explore and learn other technical skills .

Internships are provided by TBI in the KIET .The respective departments are very serious for internships. Some of the students even got selected for the GSOC and many for Microsoft. The projects are created from hackathon organised in colleges and big tech events play a major role

Students from 7th semester become eligible for placement and many companies visit here The number says 300-400 companies visit here for placement the highest package this session is around 60 LPA by American express and average package is around 7 LPA Total of 90% gets placed in Btech. I am thinking of opting the placement.

My tuition fee along with the other fees was 138999 , From the session 2024-25 the institution is autonomous, as per knowledge the college fees is almost the same stands at 140000 . You can expect around 10 lakh rupees if you are the hosteller for btech and if you are day Scholar this may be around 7-8 lakhs . Scholarships are provided to orphan students and the UP government scholarship is provided to all eligible students at around 60 thousand per year . The campus placement is best among all when compared to other NCR college (AKTU) . At around 300-400 companies visit campus and we have about 90% placement and average package stands at 7-8 LPA .

Campus life here at kiet is very good considering the technical clubs and other clubs organizing events time to time and also the College annual fest EPOQUE is very popular among students The sports facilities are very good in kiet having a very huge football ground. Kiet organises a sports fest RANN in which students from other college participate for sports .

Hostels at KIET are very clean and hygienic however many have complaints on food quality but as compared to other colleges KIET has best food when I asked with friends . The locality has a number of pg and flats . For hostel you need to maintain about 80% attendance

Eligibility for btech is 10+2 and jee mains You can take direct admission as well with 12th percentage and with counseling you have to be written jee mains. I got EWS reservation in which at rank of 231000 I got Csit in round 3. The admission process should be more transparent as some with low percentage got cs and when I came with 89.2% I wasn't even offered CSIT , so I came with counseling

The faculties of KIET are very dedicated but there is mixed kind of review as Some of them are very good and some are kind of average but If student want to learn in classes the faculties leave no stone unturned. Most of the teachers are PhD here giving you the trust of knowledge. Each student is assigned a mentor and everyweek we have mentoring session in which we can discuss our problems. Overall the faculties from the second year focus on placement too, they help you acquire some certifications through their students.
