- Things i like about my college is that it has a very huge campus and it also have many options in the college
- The campus is very huge like one can get lost in its own campus it has like lots of courses to offer .
- The college also have a kiss school for children who are not able to afford schooling.
Dislikes
- There is not many things that i dislike about this college it is that if you are student of any other state other than orissa
- You might not also get a very good placement
- The food is not great, the weather is also very humid .
Course Curriculum Overview
I was always determined to choose Law i choose this college as i saw how the law papers are divided in each sem so that there is no burden in one semster to study all the law paper together.As we move forward to the higher semester the paper of more practical knowldege increases.There should be one law paper and one practical paper in each semseter.The exam are one mid semster within one month after the collge opens and the end semster.
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies that come during the internship period that provide internship to the students.The traing and placement cell helps the students to secure good internships with stipends and the cells bring many good campines for students.
Placement Experience
From the 9th semseter the students are eligible for campus palcement.The companies like hdfc and many firms come during the placement.the highest package of 21 lakhs was offerd to the students.the percentage of students while getting the placement should be above 8 CGPA.As i want to opt for judiciary.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees increases after 1 or 2 year there are no such hikes.I have been giving 3.4 lakhs for each semester till now between your semster there is no increse of the fees.The college also provide with the scholarship to the students who maintain the CGPA of 9 they are given the scholarship.The training and placement cell during every internship period provide internship for students who are intrested in taking them.
Campus Life
Every year there is kiit fest that is organized by the college in the month of february and the fest is for 1 week.There are variety of book available in the library .The classes are all digi classrooms.There is also various options for sports as they also have various sports centre and ground for different sports activities and also there are other extra curicular activities for the students there are different socities for it.There are debate society sports society,dance society,drama society and many more.
Hostel Facilities
The facilities that are provided to us is they have as proper electricity there is no power cut in the hostels. There are both AC and non-AC rooms available for students two sharing or three sharing. The food in very great in the hostel. The registration process is the same the fees are uploaded in the sap and from there you can pay the whole fees including the hostel and of the institution. The location is also good but the rooms if you take them near the college will be a bit pricey.
Admission
The eligiblity of the course is that the kiit provides its own examination for the students.A student can find the application on the KIIT official website.The exams are not that hard the students can easily clear the exams.
Faculty
The faculty with which we are provided is quite good they have good qualification they always encourage as to write research papers as a law student if they have any internship for us they always give students to prove that they are capable to do the internship .The relation between the student and their mentor is also good as if we have any problems related to anyhting we can comfortably talk to them about our problems which is great.Every saturday we have a mentor mentee meeting in which we have to discuss about our problems with them.
