My college life.

I have a great interest in statistics and so I took admission to KTHM College, and that was my great decision and I developed a lot of skills from it and also my teachers helped me a lot as they taught us the things which will be beneficial for our growth in this field. As, this field gives me opportunities for the roles like data analyst, data scientist, business analyst, etc. Exams are quite difficult means the internal exams are way more difficult than the board or university exams. And talking about the entrance they are very tough.

As my admission is under the OBC category I had very minimal fees for the year around 3000 per year, and to I got a scholarship of around 2000 a year. So, I had to pay very little fees to the college. But, there are other fees like exam fees of around 1000 per semester and then those journals and files charges, etc. My living expenses are more than the tuition and college fees and at the end, it depends on the individual where to live and in what amount to live.

Not so many festivals are there but, there is one every year and the dates differ every year likely to be held between January to March. The library is good and you can find a good amount of books which are needed to complete your course or subject. And the study space is also there and is very good. Sports activities are there and you need to enroll your name once you get into the college so, you would get to know everything about it and college can take you to the competitions and all.

So, to do a B.sc in statistics you need to pass your HSC exam with a good score, and then once the results are out you can visit the college website and fill out the merit form and once your name gets into it you can go the college and complete the admission process. Then once you get into the college they will update you with the dates to fill out the scholarship forms and the. You need to do it within the stipulated time if you didn't fill out the scholarship form you will have to pay more fees at the end of the year as a majority of the scholarship amount goes to college and the remaining the student gets. The admission process can be improved in one thing but, but now they are working on it as previously they used to have us pay the fees in cash and we suggested making it online from the website and they are working on it, and from this year it is starting.

Talking about my faculty means department of statistics, we have a great faculty, our teachers are so talented and helpful I cant tell you they are like we can go them whenever needed and can talk about any topic we need help with. Talking about qualifications our HOD has done P.hd, Msc and SET. And so, other teachers have done comparatively good qualifications. My class had 50 students for the Third year and we had 11 teachers to teach them so, comparing this 5:1 is the teacher-student ratio. But, obviously, they also teach other students like M.sc students and also few teachers take classes of FY and SY.
