I have selected this college because it is very renowned college at south Kolkata and it is also nearer to my place of residence.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was little bit boring, but our faculty members made it simple and interesting to us. The faculty members were very experienced and they always guided us all, how to overcome the burden and they helped a lot in making good results.

There was some provisions of campus interviews. Some of my friends managed to bag good jobs through campus interview in popular companies.

College Events

There were three festivals in my college i. e. Freshers, Social and on the occasion of Saraswati Puja. Out of these three we enjoyed the social very much as it was very big and good artists performed there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There was no hostel in our college and the fees were very nominal because it was a Govt. aided college. On the other hand there was a cheap canteen and it was our place of great time pass, the food were very delicious with different variety like Indian, Chinese and Bengali etc.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
