Course Curriculum Overview

the course curriculum is updated with UGC guidelines. the exams are conducted in three phases t1,t2,t3 and th practical is also conducted in three phases. the course is based on the recent techs and also they provide you the projects to work on and improve your skills.

Placement Experience

the placement is good as the recession is going on but still the companiyare visiting for the on campus placements.the highest package is 40lakh and the average package is 4lakh to 5lakh. they also provide you the placement training.

Fees and Financial Aid

the fees structure is like for the tuition fees there is 2.4lakh and the hostel fess is 1.6 lakh for a year. and the tution fees increase per year like 5 thousand per year. they provide scholarship for the army brats.

Campus Life

campis life is great as there are regular fest in college to attend. there are sports fest, tech fest and cultural fest every year. semester tournament are also conducted in college to keep the students engage in cultural activities.

Hostel Facilities

hostel facilities include 24 hour wifi with great speed, bed, mattress, study table, chair, almirah. the water cooler is present on every floor. they provide you the fym facilities. and also they provide 3 time meal with great taste in the food.

Admission

the admission process is conducted in two phases first onthe basis of 12th standard and second on the basis of jee mains. you to fill up thw registration form of 1200rs and after that they provide the counselling details and you jave to be present at that time.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

Jaypee university of information technology solan

I applied for Chitkara, Cu, Du, HPU, SRM etc and the main reason I choose this college is because of the studies, placement and location. The study culuter in this unversity is very good as compared to other university . The student Teacher ratio not very large as compared to the other university which give every students a chance to stand out and get better results . I got acceptance from cu , du and 2 or 3 other colleges. Yes i also got rejections from colleges like SRM , VIT for not scoring a good percentile in jee and the fees and cost of living there i svery high as compare to JUIT . The admission process is very easy students can apply on the basis of their boards marks or on the basis of their JEE exams as well . After that students can attend the counselling sessions where they can vbisit the college get to know about the college . the admission staff is very helpful and they guide the students and family step by step throught out the whole process....Read More

JUIT- beautiful place

I applied in thapar, jiit, juit and Manipal. I got admission in all of them but I chose juit. I didn't go to jiit because my parents thought that environment of juit would be better. Also they were a bit hesitant to me living in Delhi for my graduation as people are very young during graduation. Didn't choose manipal as juit was better in every aspect other than placements. I had got admission in Jaypee noida but in 128 sector and also stream was IT which I didn't preferred so I left that.
