Mixed feelings

It's good to get this college but branch here matters a lot. If you can work hard enough to crack gate then only opt for mechanical and electrical engineering.Civil is quite good. green surrounding and peaceful place to live. Various places to visit like

WBJEE,my rank was 11758. For the first time wbut adopted online counselling.I got puzzled though i had access to internet and that time it was the best combination that i had to opt for.

Course structure is very much balanced.

I have not done any internship to be very frank,we fight here for software job because hardly 2-3 it companies visit our college.Chemical engineering and food technology as well as biotechnology is quite good.Computer science and information technology branch is also good.

Wipro, tech mahindra till now in our college. Though the placement scenarios of but is quite good. The way companies are coming,it is clear that all of them will be placed. Chemical engineering and computer science from the college will surely fetch you a good deal.

tech fest, college fest, annual day, republic day, independence day, sports day, cricket tournament, football tournament, tt , basketball. a small gathering to save the earth programme called as rangmilanti is organized in our college. campus cleaning and alumni meet are also organized.

Per semester fee 38000-40000(depending upon odd or even semester).

Syndicate bank in our campus provides loan easily and college offers two types of scholarship tfw ( only west bengal residents).Freeship to semester toppers.

Gender ratio is not much balance as male dominates.Every where party,birthday parties,workshops are updated and modern. There is no discrimination and the best part is that my campus is 100% ragging free.

Hostel facilities are quite good.Free wifi and clean environment. Daily floor and bathroom are cleaned. Purified water on every floor and in food mess too.You must be aware that how hostel food tastes. Don't worry it's not compulsory to join mess. Food in

I have not that much of interaction with my seniors except2-3.One is pursuing mtech from iit kgpone in core sector hplone in iim lucknow many others are placed in good reputed software giants of india.One advantage of this college is that many students crack gate from here.

Exam structure is quite in good way and it is organized in a very proper manner and our labs are equipped with modern technology and instruments.

Faculty in my department are helping too. Many are having wast experience both in industry and teaching.Each department has its own departmental library which offers book of 1 month.
