Dislikes
- Inconsistent Teaching Quality: While some teachers are excellent and experienced, others, particularly new ones, lack effective teaching skills. The Physics department, in particular, suffers from poor faculty performance.
- Few tech-based companies visit, and science students often do not secure placements in their field.Open Auditorium Discomfort: During summer, the open auditorium becomes almost unbearable, making it difficult to attend functions andevents comfortably

Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is changed according to the new education policy and now it is really helpful and contains alot of career based Courses like data science and web development. Earlier no such Courses are there. So yes, now can make a career out of any one of them. Teaching of the Courses are not up to the mark. You can take the same course from any Academy and learn it on a master level to get a job in a reputed company. The course curriculum only helps you on a basic level. That too when you are willing to learn on your own. On area of improvement they can provide us with better teachers who will focus more on practical knowledge rather than making up grasp the concepts. Difficulty level is moderate in DU , you can get more than 7 cgpa easily if you start studying one month before exams.
Internships Opportunities
Various Internships are offered. Companies are Zomato , lenskart, planetsparks. Drishti IAS, collegedekho visited our placement drive. They offered Internships with 5k stipend and more. Roles are mostly business development associate, marketing Internships, social media manager, customer support etc
Placement Experience
Average Company Packages: The majority of companies visiting the college offer average packages around 3 LPA, which may not meet the expectations of all students. Placement Issues for Science Students: Placement opportunities are limited for science students, with most companies focusing on commerce and arts disciplines. Very few tech-based companies visit, and science students often do not secure placements in their field. Highest package offered is 10 LPA. This is only possible to commerce and arts graduate. Percentage of placement is around 20%. Students go for govt jobs and prepare for post graduation after college. Some of them cleared UPSC and PCs exams too.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is affordable . Approx 10k-12k for a year. Various scholarships are provided by DU , but you won't get a big amount. Freeship also provided for students but it is very less. It should be improved as per my opinion. Some awards are given on the annual day to meritorious students.
Campus Life
The annual cultural fest rhapsody takes place. It's a good event. A singer also comes on the second day of fest. Some cons are that the food options available at that time is expensive. Annual sports fest is also conducted. With that Many more events and festivals are celebrated in Maitreyi college. You can say almost every festival. You will enjoy a lot after coming here, if you make a good group of friends.
Admission
Now you have to give CUET for taking admission in DU. Reservation is provided to sc st and obc students. Application process is similar to any exam you give. And its available on the official website of DU. Then after some days all the colleges release there cutoffs time to time. You have to check the same and apply accordingly
Faculty
All the faculty members are very much qualified. But being qualified and being a good teacher doesn't get along everytime. Some teachers didn't care about the students. They just come and do there duty. They teach really bad. But yes, some of them are exceptionally great. They interact with you and concerned about your academics. Some teachers provide you attendance too. All the teachers are approachable. ( that doesn't mean they are good in teaching. It's just you can talk to them on any topic)
