Remarks

I joined through merit. I've done admission through online and the fees was reasonable. you can either take admission from the college or you can take admission through online, also there is no entrance exams.

Course Curriculum Overview

I feel like the future needs technology, and I hope that being an IT student will help me to built like maybe some website or an app and can give new features to technology. it is a bit difficult, but also it is very interesting to study. The course curriculum is good.

Class Size: 1Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 30000. The fees for this course is not too much. I guess it is a reasonable fees for an IT course. Also, there are many scholarship are available. And I'll will be including in campus placement this year, so I guess it's a great deal.

Campus Life

The college doesn't have a big campus but it really is a good place for a student to concentrate on their studies. We also have a smart class and a good computer lab. Also there are many clubs and all for you to join if you want to.

Faculty

im pursuing the IT couse soo I guess it gives more scopes to the future. And the teachers there are actually really nice and they are very approachable. we can interact with teachers whenever we want and they are very cool about it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.

Other from SIES, I applied for the same course in Ruia college and Somaiya college. I got confirmed admission form from Somaiya college but i didn't opt for it as the fees are too high compared to SIES college. I didn't get admission in ruia college because their cutoff was high. I've applied for VES college, chembur and pillai college, panvel and I got addmission but because of their fests and other programs I denied that college.
