Academically well developed they motivate very well for good academic marks college is bit strict too

College is under management so there is more power to management compared to other colleges our College is very srict
We have to beg for program but there are programs most of them were boring
Some Professor were very unpleasant nature they don't equality they still think when a girl and boy talk it's bad

The course I opted was artificial intelligence and machine learning that's under computer science department.the world is developing and there demand for computer science engineering was increasing.app development coding and website development are very good.sem will be over in 3-4 months so academic schedule was so tight .but we can find time to enjoy.computer science are good but very strict and some are rude

The college has a strong placement cell with many reputed company in Regular placement training and career guidance sessions are provided by the college.high percentage of student getting the placement is high.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to pay 18000 for general 13000 thousand for reservation.there are scholarship available too. Hostel fees depend on how you eat may 4000-6000 for girls for boys it's different.therebia no campus employment jobs and stipend awarded

There are lot of festivals happening in college but management were too strict especially towards girls.takshak and sanskriti were the main event in college.there is a big Library which provides essential study material.have good technologies.and good lab too.there are lot of extracurricular activities offers like battmintion basketball etc.

Hostel Facilities

I live in private hostel room provide basic facilities.meal were not very good and not very bad .we have to pay 5600 per month.menu is chappathi,fried rice,chor and curry.it have tie with college so during admission college introduce this hostel too us.hostel rent is little bit high

Admission

You have to write keam (entrance exam).when you pass you will get rank.if you get good rank you will you get admission according to the branch you choose.after third allotment you will get admission.if you have reservations there will be fees concession

Faculty

Insight on the effectiveness and qualifications of the faculty members are dependent Some are very good and qualified but management have effect on hiring faculty .some get teaching opportunities because of management Some are very helpful and supportive. Computer science branch facilities are most of them are not very good .

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

Navigating MACE: A student's journer Through Campus Life, Academics and Oppurtunities.

I chose this college over other colleges primarily for its autonomous status. This allows MACE to have more current and industry relevent curiculum unlike colleges with fixed university syllabus. Admission to MACE was based on keam rank. Although I had a good rank, it wasnt high enough to get my preferred branch in NIT calicut or CET. One of the best government aided college

I chose this college considering the distance from my home. Good facilities and the environment of the college. This college supports extracurricular activities.
