It's management is really good and cooperative. The faculty is excellent as well.They will help you through every aspect of college to be honest.
Fee structure is also reasonable. It is affordable for common people

Course Curriculum Overview

We have 4 internals and two practical exams before the final sem exams. They are placed at an interval of around 3 weeks so as to help us. My course helps me to work in the hardware field of the electronics. They also teach you extra stuff for the outer world and there are specially assigned placement classes that prepare you for the HR rounds and all.

Our college brings many companies like TCS cognizant IBM and many more as well as from the core companies. We get internship opportunities in our last year provided by the college or many do it before from our side as in off campussing. We have to do project works also in the third year and fourth year .

Fees and Financial Aid

About the campus enjoyment opportunities there are tons. We have so many clubs which are very active.The college organises fests with renowned artists coming over. They provide scholarships also for the underprivileged.

There are two buildings each having 9 floors and more under construction. There are many social clubs which are active. We have fests like Anakhronos Technotkarsh and many more which are very joyous and fun.

Admission

I admitted there through west Bengal joint extrance exam. I got 8.9k and that time cut off was high.Thid is one of the top colleges in West Bengal. The admission process was very easy also and user friendly type

Faculty

The faculty is very good here. They are very cooperative and helpful.We have 30 teachers in our department and the teaching methods are also interesting. We did not have any issues over the years . I'd greatly recommend this college for any newcomers here.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
