Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course include subjects which will help you solve real life problem but the only problem is that it's not deep enough, you have to deep dive by yourself only to learn more & know well then others. The improvement I suggest giving a good roadmap to follow if a student is highly interested in a subject or career. This course only gives basic & teaches basic of everything. The exams are medium level or easy as I have passed my sem 3 & 4 by studying one night before exams and scored above 9+ cgpa in both sem. The times is good like every other college but sometime our exams over late because there is 1-2 day holiday in between.

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall fees is around 25000 which is good I think but the tuition fees takes more & just as I mentioned low faculty so I don't think the tuition fee is justified as we aren't getting tutored properly. Other than that, the basic necessities like gym, ground, etc are always filled with students there is no place to sit and hang out. We have to just roam around. There are financial aid available but only for SC-ST students only we open one doesn't have any benefits. I don't think companies come here as I haven't seen anyone getting employed on campus.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus life is awesome we had a event called tech today in which we IT faculty will make games like debugging, sudoko, chess, sketching, typing and other which is really fun to participate in, they help every year around mid January. Library have all the book we need during our semester so it was good but sometimes they book were 2-3 years old so some topic were not in there but main topic can be done from that so no problem. We had educom to see presentation & takes note from and lab to perform practical. The sports day and annual is also so eventful & enjoyable you will love it many people were looking good and are easy to talk to. The group are fine but I would suggest to form your own group of friends.

Admission

The admission process was easy if you have marks upto cut off then you can take admission easily. But the only problem is they only accept cash on online transaction which was a little hassle. The admission can be done even after due date, which is good as I was at my hometown so I was late but it didn't bother me. The exams levels are pretty good you can pass the exam with little study but you need to understand the basic concepts & form your own answer. For improvement I want you guys have online transaction & extend the time period a little more.

Faculty

3.5

It's good but the ratio is pretty bad as in the 1st sem we had each teacher for every subject but then in 3rd sem 3 teachers left and outside faculty were teaching us. We were really unable to understand & half of our time went into taking demo lecture of teacher. Due to which most of our portion remained unfinished & some students didn't understand anything. The teachers that were present can be approached easily if we had any problem but for outside faculty it wasn't like that. The teaching methods are different for every teach one miss gives their knowledge & other reads books only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
