Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course covers every current existing technology related to its field, not only that, important concepts are grasped through projects, and all other fields are touched like coding electronics etc, everything is perfectly fine and is always updated when found necessary. The frequency of exams is 2 per semester, mid sem and end sem and not too difficult and are more project oriented

Internships Opportunities

5

Internship drives take place in start of 3rd year and in 4th year you have to compulsorily complete a sem or 2 in a company as an intern to be eligible for a degree, it can be a company intership, research internship, international internship or international research internship

Placement Experience

4

70 to 80 percent students get jobs through campus placements with 650k as average package, rest have their own business, or do startup or prepare for higher studies, most of the students plan for higher studies or government exams

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is depended on caste, general category has to pay full 192k fees and it reduces as per your caste. TFWS ( Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme ) is available for limited no. of students in which the is significantly less and is available for GEN & GEN-EWS students. Various scholarships are provided to students by government and clubs from college and total education cost per year for a GEN student is around 350k

Campus Life

5

Infrastructure is mediocre with a small and simple campus, though it doesn't fail to attract wildlife there, many dogs and squirrel and cats and various types of birds can be seen in the campus, regular events of sports and other activities take place such as Pathnatya, Singing competion, dance competition and college fests

Admission

Admission are carried through competitive exams such as cet, jee, after counselling round, you have to be physically present at the reception to avail your seat. Talking about cutoff, for the course I have elected was 93 percentile and may vary depending on current and last year admissions

Faculty

4.5

1 teacher for 60 students in theory class, 1 teacher for 20 students in tutorial class and lab, faculty contains teachers having masters or doctorate degree and each one of them having more than 20 years of teaching experience. Teachers are very friendly and guide properly especially during project review which does have dedicated 1 hour slots every week, they encourages student to work on their grasp on one software related to the course out of academics

During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.
