- Placement cell is very active and gurantees you placement even if you are just average student.
- Faculty is very helpful and caters to the need of every student without any discrimination
- Supports you when you are not performing good in academics with extra classes and if needed also provides you with practise papers and dpp sheets to cover your shortcomings.
Dislikes
- Campus is not very big so sometimes it gives schools vibes rather than college vibes.
- Food in cafeteria is very average in taste so you have very less choice of items to eat.
- Dayscholars are not permitted after 5pm in the campus so In my view its a negative point.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose mechanical engineering due to my interest in applied physics. The course of this institute helps you to learn both theoritical as well as practical aspects which helps us after college in our works. We can use more 50:50 lab and theory aspect to balance out the course. The exams are held at end of each month so their frequency always makes us ready for any exam or difficulties.
Internships Opportunities
College provides internships in prestigious MNCs like Hero, Mercedes Salesforce,etc. It provides us stipend ranging from 10000 to 50000 where you work in departments you applied for depending on your skills. It also provides oppurtunities for inhouse projects where we research and work on new technologies.
Placement Experience
If you are average student with less than 2 active backlogs then the college placement cell will give you equal oppurtunity in campus placments to secure a job offer Each year more than 200-300 comapnies conduct campus recruitment in our college for all branches and courses. So I can say our placement policy is very excellent.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee are incresed following yearly infaltion so its fairly raised. Fee waiver facility is provided for students who secured good rank in entrance exam. Up scholarship is also provided for students whose parents dont have government jobs.
Campus Life
Our campus holds Rann and Epoque as sports and cultural festival which provides you a platform to shine. Every type of books are available in our library. Classrooms use every new technology available in education system. Campus offers every sports activities and extra curricular activities than exist if you have enough participants. Our campus runs Social welfare club to provide for needy in society It also has codings corner club which have the best coding minds who compete internationally. We also have SAE which compete in NASA and other international platform in mechanical and electrical deprtments.
Admission
Your eligibility depends upon the rank you secured in entrance exams for any course. Majority of students got their admission through UPTU exam. After exam counselling is held and colleges are alloted according to your preferences and rank. Internal exams are conducted every month which helps us to be updated with the course and makes us ready for end semester exams. Institute should complete the counselling and addmission process with some amount of fees rather than full amount at once.
Faculty
You have access to your faculty whenever you need them. The faculty is very highly educated with Phds and Mtech degrees. The usual class has only 60 students so I think this ratio is very good and improves our learning experience.
