The syllabus currently is of 2020 scheme of Kerala technological university.As the college is an autonomous college the portions are reduced when compared to other kerala technological university (KTU) affiliated colleges.

Internships Opportunities

Saintgits college of engineering offers internships from second semester itself. The students are provided with duty leaves and support for the same. We can also apply for internships individually and college approves it as well

The campus placements from saintgits college of engineering (autonomous) usually begins from sixth semeste . The computer science department offers placement in TCS, INFOSYS, QUEST, FEDERAL BANK, UST etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

For computer science students first we have to pay a caution deposit of 100000 rupees. The fee is different for even and odd semesters since odd semesters include college fest and resources fee(uniform,pmi,ieee memberships etc.) Scholarships are offered

Campus Life

Saintgits college of engineering is famous for its events like Srishti (a national level technical project exhibition and competition), Nakshathra, Prathitya. Our library has an immense collection of more than 15000 books.

Hostel Facilities

The college offers 4 hostels. One entirely being dedicated to juniors as a part of anti ragging measures. Semi automatic washing machines are provided and rooms are audio available with air conditioning. There is a paved playing turf within the hostel compound.

Hostel Fee: INR 33500 per year

Admission

For computer science students the cut off from keam was 15000. Other management seats are also available.NRI seats are also available. The admission process was smooth and well scheduled. The procedure was not tedious.

Faculty

The facualty is a mixture of strict and friendly people.Some teachers are good at teaching and some are not up to the level compared to others. They have graduated from well reputed colleges like saintgits college of engineering.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

College at first look, only started a new chapter in here...

I did a blunder as I did wanted to write IMU CET exam but due to a mistake I did forgot to inform the keam management regarding this and both exam coninsided in one day at different places one in Kerala and other in Bangalore.
