This course is good to know about your own country and the administrative system of the county including rights and duties of citizens and the place to go when their rights are hindered and about the structure of government including the knowledge of all three organs of government political parties and pressure group how they affect and get affected by business group and about the international relation and government structure of some major countries of World. You can do this course if you want to be a teacher or professor but except this there is no scope or real life implementation of this course.

There is no perticular companies for offering internships but sometimes companies like tcs come to take interview of candidates for their offices so that they can find cheap labour after the students are graduated not everyone gets placed and no job is offered only their name and contact number is added on an excel sheet and rest is mystery

There is no such increase in the course fee Infact the fee gets less after 2 years because then thwre is no general course, admission fee was about 3000 rupeese, the semester fee depends on the general and honors subject you have form semester 1 to 4 the course fee is 17,000 and for the sem 5 and 6 is 7,000 total 27,000 rupeese for 3 years course.

There are many festivals and fests held there in the college campus as well as outside college, there are many books in the library and journals related to the course and subject of students, sports and extra curricular activities are not offered by the college but you can join the team of sports directory under calcutta University, there is student union that influence students but not in a good manner

Any student who have completed their higher secondary studies can apply in this college and all the information and details about admission date, merit list date is provided in the college website and and you'll also get an average fee of previous years to know about how this year's fee can be, all the reservations details are taken during the form fillup.

The teacher to student ratio was not fix tgat depends on the number of students taken admission in that perticular course if only 10 student had taken admissuin then the teacher to students ration will be 10:1 and if 50 students takes admission in any perticular programmer then the ratio will be 50:1 The faculty s credentials were pretty much average for me but that may differ dor other students. You can approach teachers even after college hour after class and during class they are friendly and will help you in any way they can.
