- Good infrastructure where everything is well maintained and kept neat and clean.
- Campus life is quite good and everything is kept quite neat and clean as environment issues are taken care of.
- Teachers are very friendly and they make sure all the doubts are cleared and the concepts are well taught
Dislikes
- No cultural or technical fests were held in the 3 years of my college life.
- No freshers or farewell to the 1st and the 4th years
- Surprise tests are taken like school which should be abandonned.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is at per with the AICTE mentioned curriculum.But some subjects need to be taken care of which includes data structure and algorithm in C language as C is not used in the industry now.
Placement Experience
The students can sit for placements from 7th semester.Although there is no internship drive in our college but students get placed in top MNCs including TCS, Wipro ,Cognizant,etc. The highest package this year was 10 lakhs per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees hike are not frequent as such.The fees policy is at per with the average college fees in west bengal.Scholarships are not provided as such since one of my friend had TFW fees waiver and he was not allowed Shami Vivekanada Scholarship in our college.
Campus Life
There are no technical or cultural fests hekd in our college.But we have various clubs for dancing,singing, drama,coding, environemnt,entrepreneaurship, social service,etc.The clubs are well organized and regular activities and events are held.
Admission
Amission process includes WBJEE and JEE Mains exam.I took admission through WBJEE and my rank was 2407.Th cutoff for cse branch was 4200 at that time.The admission process is good and needs no reforms as such.
Faculty
The faculties are well trained and versed with the subjects they are teaching.They are friendly and even makes sure that all the doubts are cleared.Only thing that needs to be taken care of is that informing a week ahead that a surprise test will be taken.
