I enjoy the university and yes it is the best in Jammu and Kashmir.

My two cousin brothers also studied from this college and they told me about this university and said it's the best in Jammu and Kashmir. And I personally also think that yes it is the best one in Jammu and Kashmir. I have been in the university for 6 months now and feel yes it is best.

The course curriculum is good and we have some great faculty members with a lot of experience. They teach very well and if we have any doubts any time we can contact them university email or even through their personal phone numbers. The syllabus is not very much for a semester.

Yes, the college provides the internship with the stipend and the certificate is also given for the CVV. But the stipend depends upon the internship.

Yes, there are a lot of companies that approach smvdu every year and there are seminars where they come and tell about the packages and opportunities that we will in their company. There a lot of students who go for these placements and get a very good job.

There are a lot of events that occur in our university and in which we can participate. Some of them are Latisha and concordance.. they are very popular and we get a lot of games to play and enjoy.. we can participate in different educational games there and win prizes

The fee structure is simple and is not so expensive... 2 lakh at the yearly cost there. ... Including hostel mess and another fee. The tuition fee is 60k per semester and 50k for hostel and mess for one year... And rest are other fee and expenses... But its5not as costly as other colleges.

Yes, there is a scholarship for the students who top in class or are in the top five. They get concession in tuition fee .... 50%

Campus life is very exciting and enjoyable. There is an almost equal ratio of girls and boys in the university and it is a very good environment for girls also. There are a lot of trees in the university and very peaceful. The best thing about Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University is its peace

Hostel facility is also decent and we get much better food than in universities outside Jammu and Kashmir. But the food provided in IIT's is the best and it has no comparison with what we get in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University. But still, the food is eatable.

All the seniors are very good and helpful. There is jolliness or any other kind of ragging. Very good relation between juniors and seniors.

Exams procedure is a bit complicated but once you understand then its very easy. First, there are two minor exams of 20 marks each Ans then there is one major exam of 50 marks And 10 marks for assignment. We have to totally get 37 marks out of 100 to pass a subject.

First, there was a test called SMVDUEE (SHRI MATA VAISHNO DEVI UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE EXAM) then there were lists out and according to our ranking, we got our branches. Then we have to go there for the admission and they checked our documents and made a file. Then hostels were also allowed.
