College is developing day by day library, departments, the canteen is recently renovated.
Entrance Preview
NAAC Has given grade B to this college, it is active since 1945 and this college is very close to the house a great college for students who want to study in the local area. No other college in this area provide this vast subjects to graduate. The library has a huge stock of books.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is very good the syllabus is very useful provided by Amravati university. Many fields like Chemistry, Electronics provides opportunities in research and development. Recently the college collaborated with Microspectra Software Technologies PVT LTD to provide internship to students while graduating.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college does provide the internship. The general stipend is 5,000 Rs./Month. The experience for the internship was great. I learned new things every day.
Placement Experience
Placement and Job opportunities are available but not on a regular basis. Efforts are made in past 2-3 years by the college. The T&C department help students to get a good job and provide guidance for each and every field which the student might be interested in.
College Events
Many events are celebrated, a seven days event in the memory of the founder Babasaheb Bobdey. The annual gathering is the biggest event of the year where all the students are able to demonstrate various talents. The recently started traditional day got a big response from the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very minimal for the students. Yearly fee structure of any field is not over than 20000 rs. which seem to be very affordable to every student. The fee structure for Scheduled Castes and Tribes starts from 300rs./yr so they can get a chance to study and grow plus they are also given stipend by the government.
Fees and Financial Aid
No scholarship or loan facility was offered by the college that I know who availed this facility. College does not provide such a facility.
Campus Life
The campus life is great, the gender ratio of female to male is almost 3:2, the no. of female students are greater than male students. College inspires students to take part in co-curricular activities and there are many facilities provided by the college such as college ground, badminton hall, swimming pool, etc.
Hostel Facilities
No hostel facility is provided by the college. Until now the college has not taken any step towards the hostel because the area is rural and students do not prefer to pay the college hostel fee and mostly the students are from the city so no hostel facility.
Alumni/Alumna
Some of the alumni are in my contact and they are very helpful. Recently college held a gathering where all alumni were invited.
Exam Structure
The exam structure mainly the practical exams are very tedious and the theory papers in the summer are held in noon when the students are left to suffer in suffocation and winter papers are held in the morning when the atmosphere is very cold. For practicals, it's a hectic day but theory paper is not.
Admission
I submitted my form by filling all the details that were essential. I got the form in college campus for a nominal fee. I had to attach my mark sheet Xerox, Adhaar card Xerox and some documents. The notice was displayed that the merit list will be displayed on a particular date. So I waited and my name was on the merit list so I took the admission.
Faculty
The college has experienced faculty members. The quality of teaching is very good in my experience. The faculties are very dedicated and focus on the growth of the students. Teachers provide education via various new technologies like audio visual, PPTS and make use of Google Classroom for better interaction between teacher and student.
