Course Curriculum Overview
I am more into coding since my school days. So it influenced me to make a career on software engineering so i opted for B.tech in here. Curriculum quiet helps in preparing vast academic pursuits as all the basic knowledge of all the fields which one can pursue will be taught and present in the curriculum. Exams are conducted on quartely basis known as mid semester and end semester and during a semester...many internal assessments were done to improve your skills on every subject.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies visit for internships here during your 3rd year of the academic career. During our times some big companies which visited us was Morgan Stanley, Highradius, Providence,Hevo data etc. all of them offered roles as per their domain such as product engineering, SDE 1, consultants etc. They help you build projects during their internship training and u can learn a lot of things during the internship and if they find you good then they will also provide you with pre placement offers
Placement Experience
From the 3rd year students are eligible for the internships process and lots of companies do visit the college for internship process and in the 4th year of your academic career companies come for jobs and give the students a chance to sit in those on campus placement. The average package in KIIT is 600000. Lpts of companies visited till now such as Deloitte,Cappegemini,Infosys,Providence, Hevo, morgan stanley etc. Highest package this year is Rs 40,00,000. This college provides 100% placement to all its students. My plan is also to get a good package and settle in one of the MNCs
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee is quite fixed that is 3,50,000 per year And the total charges include hostel mess charge that sums up around average of 100000 per year. Scholarships are also given to students whose rank are less than 1000 in KIITEE exam which was help during the admission process
Campus Life
Yess fest do happens here every year...and lots of big personalities do visit the college as guest lectures or any events chief guest during the academic year. Libraries are in huge numbers and central library has huge number of book collections which consist of every book from every single domain. Sports facilities are so good making this college Odisha's no 1 sports hub. There are total of more than 100+ clubs which plays major roles in conducting events in the college and be it some of them are cultural some are tech some are for sports etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are quite good. U can opt for which type of room you want. be it Ac or Non ac, Be it 3 accomodation room or 2 accomodation, all facilities are present here. Reading rooms are available in all the hostels to study. Food quality is very good in the mess. The registration process pf the hostel is during the admission process u have to pay the fee and can avail the services of the hostel. Also u can use washing machines that are present in the hostel.
Admission
Basic criteria to be eligible for this course is above 60% in your 12th exam in each subject. The application form and all the details of the admission process will be present in KIITEE website and KIITEE brochure . The exams will be conducted 2 times a year and difficulty level will be moderate.
Faculty
The faculty members here are very kind and helpful. They help the students in managing their goals and helping them to achieve the goals. The ratio here as faculty to student is 60 and as for my learning experience it is pretty good as many professors helped me during my 3 years of my coolege life till now. The faculty here teaches woth both the board practice and the digital way of teaching. The teachers are very frank and can be easily approachable here.
