Insights on JDMC

JDMC provides a perfect and welcoming atmosphere for not even new entrants but also for existing students

JDMC is a well known and profound college of Delhi University has the best of infrastructure, green lush gardens, and faculty. Moreover, it is situated in the heart of the city, has nearby famous spots for the hangout. The college has a competitive environment and has been giving the best results and placement opportunities.

The course curriculum designed by the university is highly competitive. The entire course is divided into 6 semesters which range over a period of three years. Moreover, the course structure provides in-depth knowledge of all the concerning topics. The course is perfectly apt for graduate level.

JDMC has a well functioning placement cell. Many reputed companies like EnY, arcus visit college campus every year and recruit a good number of students. Stipend generally varies from company to company. Initial stipend rates begin from about Rs 5000 pm.

First of all only highly qualified candidates, meeting the job description and companies requirement gets recruited. Secondly, till the time, most of the placement and job opportunities have provided satisfaction to most of the students. Many college alumni are still working at a higher position with the companies they got recruited through JDMC.

Varied kinds of events happen in college 1. Annual fest of college- Symphony 2. Fest of various societies and departments 3.College celebrations of founders day, other events of national importance. An entire year is full of a large number of colorful events. On an average two events happen per week, which is sufficient to break any sort of monotony.

1. The fee structure is extremely feasible and affordable for all strata of our society. 2. Moreover, the college provides various kinds of scholarships to the needful and meritorious students. 3. Fee structure and examination fee charged is extremely nominal.

College provides a large number of scholarships to meritorious students. Though I haven't availed any till date.

Campus life is extremely easy going. It is a cake walk even for newcomers. JDMC is a female-dominated college (because it is meant only for girl students). The college has no science department, this has no labs or robotics center. The college has all other kinda extracurricular activities (including a debating Society) and they are extremely hard-working.

The college has a newly constructed hotel. Since I have never opted for hostel facility till date, I'm unable to rate the hostel facilities and mess food provided therein. Moreover, the college has a well-developed canteen which provides okay kind of food.

Seniors of JDMC are extremely helpful and cooperative. When stuck with any kinda work, or study related issues, one can straightaway approach them.

The examination is conducted twice in a year. Because of the CBCS type of structure in DU, exams are conducted in semester mode, with two semesters terminating in a year, and six semesters in three years. On an average, there are four subjects per semester per course.

The process begins with the declaration of cut off by respective college. So to get admission via merit list one needs to meet the cut off decided by a college. The cut off is different for different courses and people belonging to different sections like SC, STs etc. Once meeting the cutoff, one is required to submit all the original certificates of class 10 and 12 to the college.

Faculty of JDMC somewhat world-class, I would say. They are highly cooperative and qualified. They leave no stone unturned to make one feel at ease with everything concerning. As in they assist each and every student in documentation and other formalities. Further, the teaching staff provides remedial classes and doubt session for achieving concept clarity to the students.
