University is good and it keeps you busy with a busy schedule and keeps you learning and growing as time passes.

This university is considered one of the best university in Assam. Apart from being a Central University, it lies in the heart of Tezpur, one of the most ancient and historical districts of Assam. The distance from Jorhat to Tezpur and Guwahati to Tezpur is around 4hours which could be covered by bus or car easily. Moreover, the faculties are with a vast load of knowledge. All the students live in the hostel which gives them good exposure and inculcate team spirit in them.

The course curriculum is based on the University Grant Commission's (UGC) criteria. We get the course structure at the beginning of the semester. Generally, we have five to six subjects along with practices. There are two to three core subjects and the other elective subjects. One can choose the elective subjects of there subject. In elective subjects, we have different foreign languages like French, German and Chinese. We also have management subjects as elective. Other elective subjects are from different departments like MBBT, Physics, Computer Science And Engineering, Electronics, and Communication Engineering, etc.

Yes, one can do an internship here. The university receives n-number of applications from students of different branches for tgete summer or winter internship. The stipend may vary from 1500-5000 depending upon the course. Hostel facilities and mess facilities were provided with the deposit of some money.

Placement is much good for MBA, CSE, MCJ departments. For other departments also many companies come but not as high as for the above-mentioned one. It is just because the other departments are new and everyone is trying their level best to attract as many companies as possible. But yeah, placement is good.

Let's start in January. The first event is Varsity Week. It is a one-week event took place in the month of February but the preparations start from January itself. The next event is InSignis- an event organized by the School of Sciences. With lot many events related to science fields. The other one is Aaron- organized by School of humanities. TechXetra- one of the biggest Tech Fest organized by third-year students of the School of Engineering.

The fee structure is a bit higher than the local colleges but the exposure and experience it gives actually nullifies what it is taking. But it is not much high either. For a normally admitted student, the fee is feasible but the student admitted under SSS scheme the fee is almost highest by 20-25 thousand. Yes, I'm availing Ishan Uday Scholarship from the last 3 and a half years. It gives a stipend of 7800 per month (9 months in a year) There are other scholarships also for SC/ST or OBC and also for the topper of the batch.

The campus is very beautiful. If one asks me is there any place to see in Tezpur I would definitely mention University. We not only have students from different states from all over India but we also have students from Different Countries like from South Africa who got comfortable inside the university. You can say that the hostel facility is very good here at Tezpur University. 24*7 electricity 24*7 water availability Whole campus wifi Cleanliness And good food in the mess. All these things are worth mentioning. There is a security room outside every hostel. Hostel in charge always stays inside the hostel for any emergency. And indoor games are also there along with the hostel library. So one can enjoy your stay in the hostel with friends as their extended family.

Of course, our seniors are very helpful they not only give us ideas but also trying their level best to bring in companies for placement.

We give four exams per semester Test 1 is a written test which is of 25 marks. Mid Term is also a written test which is of 40 marks. Test 2 may be written, presentation, project, group assignment, individual assignment anything which the course instructor finds suitable is of 25 marks. And finally, the End Term which is of 60 marks.

I have applied for the Northeast quota. I appeared for JEE MAINS and qualified the written examination. The university makes a list of students who have applied for the northeast quota and arrange them in order of their ranks in JEE MAINS. Once the list is prepared a date is given when we have to report there. And the one with good rank gets the admission. This is for Btech.

The faculties are a whole bundle of knowledge who tries their level best to. make us understand the subject. Their continuous efforts have enabled our university to bring laurels to the university. Many facilities have received national awards from President also. They are available from 9 am to 5 pm for any doubt. And sometimes we can even call them if it's urgent. So yes, the facilities are good.
