Remarks

The college management is very great. Everything right from attendance management to performance management is done through centralized ERP. The college follows all the norms prescribed by the ISO standards committee and is very near to become autonomous. Probably for the next batch coming the college will be autonomous. The infrastructure is also very well maintained. Grass ground is there for football and cricket and basketball ground are also there.

Entrance Preview

I had heard a lot about this college about its discipline and the academic excellence along with excellence in other co Scholastic areas such as sports and extra talents. I also heard about the various teams in various events such as robocon, team Kratos, team Baha which compete at international level and was amongst the top competitors.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Since the college is not autonomous it follows the SPPU guidelines for its curriculum. I must say the teachers here are the best in the world teachers. They are very knowledgeable and are very friendly and they cover every aspect of the concept they teach. Along with the prescribed syllabus by SPPU college also offers some extra courses on add-on knowledge which will be required when the students join the industry. Overall the curriculum is the best.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, college does provide students with internships. There are several companies such as Wipro, KPIT who are always keen to hire new talent and them. The spend usually varies according to your knowledge and company but usually, it's best to 15000 to 18000.

Placement Experience

5

PCCOE ranks among the best colleges in terms of placement and job opportunities. The placements provided are so big that students from other colleges come to our college for placement whenever there is a placement drive. The job fair is also held in college where a number of companies come together in search of employees. There is a Training and Placement department specially dedicated towards taking care of the placement drive that is organized in the college. The major recruiters in the college are KPIT, L&T, Wipro, Capgemini, Flipkart, Amazon, Byjus. The average packages offered are 3.5 lakhs to 4 lakhs and the highest package given to the student of this college is 34 lakhs.

College Events

4

Along with academics, the college is also into co Scholastic areas such as sports, talent projection, extracurricular activities and so on. So various events are held for that. During the first year, an annual event named SPECTRUM is held which is organized by the first year students and is for the first year students. Also, every department has their own annual event. Along with that, an annual event called SWARTARANG is also held where students get a chance to present their talents. Various activities like ramp walk, dancing, singing, musical instruments playing are held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college of quite feasible. Only 1000 rupees is taken as development fees rest all of the fees is according to university guidelines. The college fees are 96000. Although it might be a lot for those who are financially challenged, all the scholarship schemes are provided to students and notices are circulated whenever a new scholarship schemes arrive and students are provided with their scholarships time to time.

Fees and Financial Aid

For those who are financial, the backward college provides the facility for students to pay in installments according to their will. Along with that any of the scholarships that are available for the students are informed about to students by circulating notices.

Campus Life

5

The campus is very lively. The crowd is very energetic and talented. Students in this college are from all parts of India but most of them are from Maharashtra so sometimes other students have problems mixing with them. The gender ratio is very proper in every class the number of boys and girls are very equal. Along with academics, the students are very good at extracurricular activities to be it sports or singing or dancing. The various technical teams such as robocon, racing car making teams have secured first ranks at international levels. Also, sports competitions are annually held among all departments.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facilities are quite good. A single hostel room is shared among three students and proper table and beds are provided to the students. The hostel rooms are quite well maintained and are cleaned every 2-3 days. The washrooms are also very clean and are cleaned every day. The mess over here is a big drawback of the college. The food is pretty bad and there have been cases where cockroaches were found in the for and dead rat was found in the refrigerator.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are very helpful they just act like big brothers and sister. They help in guiding students about studies and keep the students informed about the various events that would be happening and keep their juniors up to date about upcoming technologies. The alumni are also very helpful. A number of alumni who have put up their startups come to recruit and also guide students about the startups.

Exam Structure

The college comes under the SPPU and adheres to its guidelines strictly. Along with the university exams that are compulsory for the colleges our college takes regular class tests and two unit tests every semester. Also, mock practicals and orals are taken twice every semester. Performance of every student is monitored strictly and actions are taken against those who perform poorly

Admission

First of the eligibility for admission was 60% in 12th and the candidate was required to appear for one the two competitive exams one of which was jee mains for which there was 15% quota and other was MHCET for which there was 85% quota. So I appeared for both of the exams but I chose to take admission through MHCET. After appearing for MHCET candidates are required to register through DTE official website during which candidate has to give their choice of college. After a few days, the first merit list appears and students are allocated colleges based on their marks. After that students have to go to the ARC center for me it was COEP college in Pune. After going their candidate has an option to either freeze, float and slide their allotted seats. Once the frozen student is not allowed to change their college if they choose float then they might be allotted college in the list which is above the allotted college and in the slide, college gets fixed but students may be allotted college above the allotted branch. Similarly, three more merit list appears after which students have to go to respective colleges which are allotted to them and then do the required procedures over there.

Faculty

4

The facilities are the best compared to other factualities I have heard from my friends from other colleges. Can't say all but most of the faculties are very knowledgeable and are having their masters degree from well-tried colleges and are doing their Ph.D. Teachers are always very well prepared when they come for any lectures and are always keen to teach students whenever there is a free lecture. Although there are also some teachers who are not that friendly and will make it tough for you with the internals of you mess with them.
