Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

In the whole Delhi University the same curriculum is followed for each course the course that I have opted is Bachelor of Commerce and it is a pretty good course actually which revolves around every aspect of commerce including accounts Human resource etc this course is also same for the students of the top colleges like Sriram College of Commerce and is also the same for the lowest ranking college of you so it is a well curated curriculum that is followed by each college according to me on the personal experience level the practical knowledge should be more in the course except and with the theoretical knowledge that is provided to us rather than being a book bug One should also get some practical knowledge like some softwares or some tours around companies or something like that

Internships Opportunities

3

Recently our college announced a in college internship with a stipend of rupees 6000 which is for the first and second year which is held from now to around 1.5 month six week internship these kind of opportunities are provided by the college with stipend so that the student get experience before getting into the real world and setting into the placements and should have something to write in their own resume

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is pretty low according to any other college that is functioning in India as the government colleges are already very low on tuition fee and it is even lesser for the category students financial aids are also provided for the students who are not able to pay the fees the tuition fee for a normal student for the course Bachelor of Commerce is around rupees 19,000 which is pretty nominal for a normal household in India to afford for college fee for a year, scholarships are also provided for the students who tops their examination and scores pretty well in the college exams itself

Campus Life

4.5

The overall Campus experience is pretty good including the canteen and sports area and as well as the friends you make that is the most important aspect of your college life the better the friends the better the college life and vice versa the facility is the auditorium etcetera are good on a scale of one to 10 it will be around 7 ish there are a lot of societies and groups that you can join for extra cocurricular activities and the library as I told you is one of the biggest in the whole DU so

Admission

The admission process was pretty easy there is a national examination held that was given by me in the months of May and June 2023 which is called CUET and It opened the way for me to get into Delhi University it holds three round in which you can be allotted a better college if you haven't got a college of your choice in the first round there are 3 rounds for the same

Faculty

4.5

As I said in the positives of our college the faculty is one of the best things about our college the teachers are pretty awesome and they know what to teach and how to teach and they also handle the students pretty well the faculty to student ratio is pretty much average if a class holds around 80 students not all of them attends the class like 30 to 40 maximum and around three to four teachers are allotted per course and it is pretty easy for a teacher to teach those students and also easier for the students to gather the information the teachers can be approached pretty easily through their whatsapp number or personally in the college staff room itself after you've taken or asked to meet them they are pretty reachable and the credentials of each of them is pretty good

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
