Course Curriculum Overview

Civil engineering course curriculam is very vast and challenging, this course can be very helpful for the students who want to pursue their carrer in government jobs. Teaching methods can be improved by providing more practical insights to the students. Exams are fairly difficult and interesting.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. In 2023 about 63 companies visited the campus and 528 offers were made. Highest package was 4480449, which was made by amazon and lowest package was 251000. Average package was 606000 in the year 2023. Overall 528 students were placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees for my course is 21030 per semester including hostel charges. Total average cost of my education of 4 years is about 168240 excluding mess fees. Mess fees depends solely on your food intake which can range from 4000 to 15000. Their are various scholarships available for students having financial issues. The students those who perform well in academics also recieve good scholarships.

Campus Life

Campus life revolves around overall growth of a students. 2 fests is held every year for recreaction named as Xtasy and Perception. Various clubs related to extracurricular activities have been establised. Various labs with good technology have been established for imparting practical knowledge.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are poorly managed. Rooms are provided with wooden beds, tables and chair with one cupboard. Space is fairly small. Mess food quality is not so good and not very hygenic. Affordability of the hostel is good as it costs only 5660 per semester.

Hostel Fee: INR 10660 per year

Admission

You are eligible for this course depending on your JEE MAIN score card or OJEE score card. You have to go through OJEE counselling to become eligible for this college. Application form is available in OJEE website along with fees and dates for counselling. There are 2 exams per semester, mid term and final semester. Mid term comprises of 30% of the semester.

Faculty

Faculty members are experienced and very helpful regarding their expertise. They are very easy to approach and provide good mentorship to the students. There are average of 30 faculties per branch for 135 students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

Placement Experience:

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

Placement Experience:

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

A Good University

First of all mainly because of the location it is situated. It is in the Captial Region. I got some seats in NIT-R but didn't go because the seats that i got is all 5 year course and i don't want to study for longer period of time. So the admission process is quite simple.
