Course Curriculum Overview

3

I choose my Manufacturing course as to get in touch with latest technology used in vehicle automotive development which includes industry 4.0 and various processes. Course curriculum which I study in college years like various material handling techniques, operations are really helpful in practical applications in the industry as it that I came to know that studying core concepts in the college are really helpful while doing internship in reputed firm. My suggestion for improvement areas may include more attention for practical work in laboratories and industrial training rather than classwork and exams. The frequency of exam is very bad as it comes one month after each other such that students do not get to revise concept in depth and manage to pass the exam based on remembering repeating things. The difficulty level is moderate but some computer exams are difficult

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship opportunities are quite good in our college and students become industry-ready after doing internships in reputed firms. Some prominent companies for roles like software development intern, data science intern, research intern, development intern, production intern, and quality intern are de shaw giving the highest stipend ie 1.5 lakh/month and other companies like Citi Bank, MasterCard, Bajaj Auto, Mercedes Benz, hilti, Tata motors, Maruti Suzuki, mahindra are reputed companies offering internships.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students become eligible for placement drive in their 7th semester of college which is fourth year company starts coming at the beginning of 4th year keep certain criteria like cgpa no backlog etc. 20+ companies visit the campus for each branch and take the students as per profile and caliber. Computer has the highest placement rate of 90+% and also core students have quite a good placement of 70%. My branch is about 65%. The highest salary offered this year is 52 lpa for computer students as software development role. The average package is about 8 lpa for my branch mfg. My plan after the degree is of higher education after a certain experience of 2-3 yrs in a company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure of our college is simple and not much hike is observed as in my tenure but as it have became university there is certain fee hike of 15-20% yearly fee. Complete education cost gets upto lakh for open candidate and based on the curriculum on the website is the fee. Scholarship are available on mahadbt portal for obc sc st students and ews students and they can take benefit of it. I have worked in various fests like mindspark impressions PSF as a coordinator and then head and learnt a lot of team building and confidence and currently doing an internship in reputed firm

Campus Life

4.5

Infrastructure of the college is pretty good and old one with beautiful nature. Fest are good source of attraction and provide a platform to develop various skills. Starting with the festivals . Zest which is sport festival is held in jan-feb , gathering is held in march - April , regatta which is boat club festival held in april-may , mindspark which is most renowned technical festival held in September -october and impressions which is our reputed cultural festival held in December after the exams.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel is preety huge and ample space available for every year btech student. But some common issues are faced in the room regarding bed-bugs, low water availability, cleanliness issues. Meal of the mess is really very good with variety and quality. Every day it is fulfilled with sweets and on special occasions we have feast on sundays with non veg and paaner. Registration process for hostel is done by hostel form and Google form onlinewand is affordable to students . If room is rented it's near to college near the hostel-college campus as a lot of pgs, rooms are avyin the area with nominal rates and good quality.

Admission

Admission to this college especially in top branch is really a difficult thing as top rankers get admission in the college eligibility criteria is based on the cutoff for every branch as per student category. The application form and admission form we get on the cet website and after the seat allotment we visit the college to confirm seats and complete the process. Reservation benefits are applicable to category students as some seats are reserved for sc st NRI category at lower cutoff but for the top branch It gets higher. Exams for admission are mhtcet and 20% of seats are filled with the jee mains exam which occurs 2 times and cet occur once in a year. The improvement area is cutoff must be the same for all students.

Faculty

3

Talking about the faculty to student ratio we have total of 6-8 faculties and teaching to 75 students present in the class. ( Number varies in case of computer and mechanical branch) Faculty here is well educated with PhD and doctorate degree with some teachers having experience of more than 20+ years in the core field are very passionate and honest regarding the knowledge sharing to the students. But some of them are not upto the mark for teaching. Interaction with faculty is very open
