- There is water shortage in hostels in summers which is disturbing.

Course Curriculum Overview
I want to join government job like psu so i choose this couse so that by putting some efforts i am able to join psu. The course of chemical engineering was not so tough like average person can easily got good marks if he/she made some efforts.
Internships Opportunities
The college also provide internships program to students but for extra intern you have to try by yourself, the faculties also help you for getting good intern anytime you ask. Apart from college students , campus provide internships to other college students also which is good for students.
Placement Experience
The placement scenario in college was good like from last 2,3 years it was increasing as about an average 70% students got placed pn campus.The highest package was 1.7 cr abroad and in india it was aroung 52 lakh . So the college have good placements records overall.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure varies from cast to cast like for reserved person there is some advantage in fees. It was like that for general person around 2 lakh for 1 year , obc it was around 1 lakh and for sc/st it was 30000 year. Yes college also provide many scholarships to students and they were too helping.
Campus Life
In college there are two main fests, one is cultural and other one was technical (Hillfair) and (NIMBUS). There are many clubs for that fest like each department of college have their own club and aprat from that we have many clubs like finance, dance, yoga, music and so on. The sports quality in college was also good like we have tournaments going on every semeter which provide good opportunities for students and we also have sports fest called(LALKAAR)
Hostel Facilities
The hostel was not so good like in summer you have water shortage too and you have to share room with 3 peoples which is quite disturbing and the meal or food was also not good like peoples other than Himachal have to face difficulties but sometimes you have adaptations which is good at the end.
Admission
The admission process was based upon you score in jee. Like in my college 50% are from himachal only and they don't require that much of marks in jee due to state quota but for other state students it was too difficult to get good branch . After admission the exams will be taken regularly like every semester you have to give mid term exam and end term exam and have to maintain a good cgpa.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio was very good like in chemical branch there were about 18-20 teachers for which provide good quality of knowledge and help students in other cultural activities . It was just you have to be patient to teacher and be interactive.
