Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

First year syllabus is irrelevant at all, it does not matter at all in any case for only one two subjects will be relevant to your branch else are useless. From second year you will get branch wise study if I can change syllabus I will start second year syllabus at first year, it is pretty relevant to GATE syllabus

Internships Opportunities

4

Intership seen are pretty harsh one side one backlog person getting internship with the help of faculties and other side 7.5+ cgpa person not getting through college internship cycle. You can say both are equal as per their branch but one getting intership through recommendations and other is doing all efforts still not getting at the end for experience choosing to do social intership

Placement Experience

3.5

College has good placement cell under Raju Ladhwe sir you guarantee placement if you have 8 cgpa or greater computer branch has highest package college average is 7lac last year electronics branch has highest placement percentage

Fees and Financial Aid

Due to college grant University status college fees has been increased significantly in my first year it was 96200 now it are 135600 same with hostel in first year 30000 now it is 45000 so do planning for fees accordingly. All the scholarship are available to first year students so always check for the mail during first year and check eligibility for scholarship accordingly, if you are category students MAHADBT is must scholarship

Campus Life

4.5

College has different types of fest cultural sports technical interprenuer rowing all different fests Impression is cultural fest. Zest is sport fest. Mindspark is Technical Fest. PSF in Startup Fest interprenuership. Regatta is rowing fest. For post in any fest you will need connection with senior mostly region based connection so you can say COEP has regionalism Regionalism has peaked in COEP

Hostel Facilities

2.5

College fees is 45000. College room allocation is done on merit list from form filling for hostel. Room has 4 students you need to select other 3 roommates and fill another offline form during admission hostel do not provide any roommates selection criteria. Mess has good meal but you will get bored and will hate after sometime If hostel fees increase any further you can choose to live seperately from hostel also

Admission

Admission process is through CAP round of MHT-CET counseling for general category all branches cutoff is 99 percentile for categories is varies check it on Google same for jee you can take admission on score of JEE also but I don't recommend it because it will increase 20000 it college fees only for JEE through admission. At time of admission make payment through DD or SBI Collect before submitting documents

Faculty

3

Most of the faculties are ok, in my opinion some faculties are teaching only for money they do not like teaching, some give their 100% to teach but due to others faculties they don't take interest in that faculty also. Students need more attentive ness to understand so it will be best for cgpa I don't know how will it help in placements talking about lecture but good cgpa will definitely help for placement and intership I heard about some mechanical students with backlog also get internship because placement faculty co-ordinator are from mechanical branch so you can understand

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
