Above average college

The college is overall a good college considering it is a government college. The faculty is above average.

Government college of engineering, Nagpur is the nearest college and best college from my hometown wardha. It's a government college so one more plus point. Nagpur city is also good and provides good environment. Plus many people told me the falculty is very good too considering other colleges in Nagpur.

The college is new. Considering it's only 3 years old there are not many courses. We electronics and telecommunication (which i opt for), computer science, electrical, mechanical, civil engineering. Many of the students wanted to opt for computer science and electronics. But civil is also good of this college.

Yes, there are some solar companies which comes to our college for internships, as i heard form 3rd year students.

No batch has yet to be passed out. But considering this is a government college there will be average or above placements and job opportunities. As Nagpur is one the big cities and it has only one government college and the pm is from Nagpur so there will be good placements.

This is a government college the fees is too less... Reserved categories gets 50%. Anybody can afford it. It is very feasible. There are scholarships too from college and outside college. I got 30,000 scholarship which is greater than the college fees itself.

There is a robotics club. Our college also organizes futsal and cricket league in which many colleges of Nagpur participates. There is also a box cricket league. There is also a hobby club and Astronomy club. There is also a photography club where you dont require a camera to enter.

Hostel rooms are very small for two person to live in plus there is a cooler so place for extra stuff. The college hostel bathroom is too dirty. The hot water for bathing is finished before you are awake. Mess food is okay okay. Sometimes the vegetables are too watery.

College is in it's 3rd year. There are no alumini yet. The seniors are good. They dont do any raging and stuff. They are friendly.

Every semester (2 semester every year) there are 2 unit test of 20 marks and a end semester test. There are some tutorial in between unit tests of maths. We have to also submit sheets of engineering Graphics. After end semester there is a external practical exam.

I took admission in the second round of MHT-CET. It went smoothly and hassle free. I had to go through checking of my every documents once. Then submitting them. Then the admission fees. And the admission was done. They gave a green slip and fees receipt.

As far the 1st year batches go faculties are pretty good. Don't go off topic. Sticks to the point and subject. Electrical faculty is very good (im a electronics student sovit matters the most). Civil faculty is too bookish. Too many notes are given. Engineering Graphics is good too. Maths faculty is okay okay. Physics faculty is only weak. None of attends their classes.
