Best autonomous college in Pune.

The college is very good in terms of academic and extracurricular activities.

This is the only good government aided autonomous college after VIT and COEP in Pune with better facilities.This college have facilities such as Central library , many scholarships, good faculty, good reviews interns of academics on the internet , good location.

As this is a autonomous college, the course curriculum is designed quite well. It's more on the practical and learning side and less toward the rote learning side. The course is well designed for students which focuses more towards learning than just marks.

This is the only college in Pune that provides internship from first year to third year. Yes, you read it right! First year internship. But no stripend for first year.

The placement of this college is conducted along with its branches which are at Loni and Kothrud. This college hence has a centralised placement system . The average package for each branch is almost 4 lpa and highest package is 25 lpa from entc branch.

This college is filled with events, programmes , guest sessions, get togethers etc. We have the annual program called Nakshatra in January, monthly competions, weekly competitions, etc . One will never be bored in this college due to academics and will enjoy the course.

The Fees from every year is about 1.4 lakhs , which is quite high than other engineering colleges nearby. The fees is the only con of the college. You can pay the fees.in one go or in multiple transactions. But the fees for every year must be cleared before December.

There is scholarship facility for each and every student like open , OBC, EBC, sc , st, nt , etc. WE have 59% fee waiver for obc and EBC students and only rs. 17000 fees for others except open category. I have availed EBC scholarship.

The gender ratio is 10 girls to 50 boys in one class which is common in any engineering college. The campus life is not that great. There are monthly competions like photography, rangoli, arts, etc. The college is the organizer for international robocon. We also take part in Baja ( pronounced as Baha).

The college has boys hostel inside the college and girls hostel outside the college. The fees for one year for just stay is 89000 which is again not justified. You will find better opportunities for stay , outside the college. The college mess charges 2400 per month for two time food.

The network with aluminium is quite strong. They are quite helpful at times. Guest lectures from aluminis are arranged every year.

The exam structure here, is of semesterly pattern. WE have 6 subjects in each semester including language. We have two exams per semester, mid semester and end semester exams. WE have weekly tests and quizzes. During exams, we have only one exam per week

I got 118 marks in CET and got entc branch at MITAOE in the first round through cap rounds via CET. In the second round , I got IT in the same college and I was pretty happy with the branch and college.One can also get admission via JEE main marks and also via merit

The faculty of this college is the key feature of this college. The teachers are very helpful, friendly. They have knowledge upto PhD level and are always ready to solve your doubts. One can never fail in a particular lecture if he or she attends the lectures.
