- The Infrastructure : The college is known for it's classic architecture ,growing facilities and innovations.The college provides the students a hand-on experience in every branches
- The experienced faculty : The faculty will be always there to guide us through everything that relates the academic as well as non-academic opportunities. The faculty is always cooperative .
Dislikes
- High Expectations on students leads them to drop out of the degree.The students would always be under pressure from the starting of their second year.
- As an hostler, the food was always an problem.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is of KTU 2019.The specific aspect of curriculum that lead me to choose this degree course was projects and researches done by the aluminies of the college. There are some setbacks though. One thing about this was the subject engineering graphics. I think this is an outdated subject. We're applying for this courses because we need to pursue further towards the advanced jobs.
Internships Opportunities
* Infosys *Oracle *Wipro *MRF *TATA *South Indian Bank *PWC *Indus Towers *Byju's etc . The students were offered stipends according to their eligibilities.Since this is an honest review I dont know about the projects related to this
Placement Experience
From the semester 7 on wards the students are eligible for campus placements. The average package was 6-7lakhs and the highest was 34 Lakh.My plan after getting the degree is to do an mtech in nanotechnology.
Fees and Financial Aid
As an reservation category student, I'm able to afford the academic fees as well as the hostel fees. My semester exam fees was 11k and also my hostel fee per month is 4.5k.There were many scholarship given to the students(for the reservation as well as the non-Reservation).
Campus Life
The Athena fest held in April. The college fest held in February. The annual sports meet in January. The students can access wide range of book and researches of alumies through the college campus without any difficulties.
Hostel Facilities
We were provided one room for 6 persons. The were shevles to keep our thing, individual chair, table, 2fans were also provided. The review would be about 6/10 from my part about the hostel food. The registration process was easy.The reservation category students hostel fee would be about 4.5k/month,but fot the non-reservation category it would about 6-7 k /month.
Admission
The admission was done based on our KEAM rank.The admissions was done through the kerala CEE website.If the student is from reservation category he/she should be able to pay minimum application fees. The difficulty level of the exam was moderate.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio in chemical engineering brach was an important aspect because there would be 2-3 faculties for leading each subject .It makes our learning experience incredible, also we will be more attentive in class always. They used to conduct frequent tests and maintains the students graph regularly. The faculty will be always there with us from the start. They would explain the things to be done in internships, they would give us an awareness about our CGPA to attain our desired opportunities . The faculty was always there with me for my difficulties during my first year, they would always try maintain an amazing relationship with the students .They always put effort in making creative interactive sessions for the students with reknowned personalities.
